In another timeline—one untouched by the weight of responsibility and expectations—life was simpler.

Soft morning light filtered weakly through pastel curtains, casting a gentle glow over the cozy sanctuary Seiren had built for herself. Cushions and plushies surrounded her, their comforting warmth making it all too easy to stay nestled beneath the blankets.

Then—bam, bam, bam!

A series of hurried knocks echoed against her door, followed by the sound of rapid footsteps.

Seiren groaned, shifting sluggishly. Her eyes fluttered open, drowsy and unfocused. She let out a soft yawn, lazily rubbing at her eyes before calling out in a muffled voice, "Hai?"

The doorknob twisted.

"Come on, sleepyhead!" Sarada's voice was chipper, yet laced with mild exasperation. She stepped inside, arms crossed. "It's Valentine's Day! You shouldn't be sleeping in."

Seiren blinked. "Valentine's?" she mumbled, voice thick with sleep.

Sarada sighed, already predicting her sister's reaction. "Yes. Don't tell me you forgot that Boruto's picking you up today?"

A beat of silence.

Then—Seiren froze.

Her sleepy haze shattered instantly as her gaze snapped toward the clock.

"Shoot!" she shrieked, throwing off the covers in a panic. "I only have an hour to get ready?!"

Sarada barely had time to step aside before Seiren scrambled out of bed—only to trip over her own blanket, tumbling to the floor with an unceremonious thud.

Sarada winced. "...That looked painful."

Sakura stifled a giggle, watching the rare sight of Sasuke scrutinizing their daughter with mild suspicion. Sarada sat beside her twin, both of them laughing as they admired each other's outfits.

Seiren was all dolled up—her usually straight hair curled into soft waves, framing her face with an effortless charm. A subtle touch of lip gloss accentuated her naturally pink lips, while a hint of light makeup brightened her already youthful features.

Sasuke's eyes narrowed ever so slightly.

Sakura leaned closer, whispering teasingly, "What's wrong? She looks beautiful, doesn't she?"
