Chapter Nine
Lauren's Point of View:
"Kiss, marry, kill.. Jennifer Lawrence, Katy Perry, and Chrissy Costanza." I grinned, watching as Michael's face turned into horror.
"Come on, not the hot ones!" he groaned.
"How do you think I feel? You made me choose between Harry Styles, Louis Tomlinson, and Niall Horan. That wasn't easy." I laughed.
"Ugh, fine. Marry Jennifer Lawrence, kiss Chrissy Costanza, and kill Katy Perry. God that wasn't easy." Michael groaned, shoving his face in his hands.
I laughed, moving closer to him.
"Let's do something else," he suggested, looking up at me from his hands.
"Like what?" I asked, leaning my head on his shoulder.
"Go see a movie? It's Sunday night and we don't have classes tomorrow."
I laughed. "You would be the one to suggest a movie,"
It had been two days since the little encounter Michael and I had with Nicole and Luke. Nobody has talked about it since Friday, since it was pretty embarrassing. I wasn't even wearing a shirt, it doesn't get much worse than that.
"It's not that bad of an idea!"
"You would never shut up when we used to watch movies. Remember when we watched the notebook? You almost laughed." I scoffed.
"The part about the girl losing her memory was sad and all, but watching old people scream at each other is kind of entertaining!" Michael argued, trying to fight back a smile. He failed though, and started laughing.
"You're an idiot." I shook my head.
"But I'm your idiot," Michael smiled.
I smiled too, lacing our fingers together. I moved closer to Michael on his bed, laying my head on his chest.
"Your heart is beating really fast." I whispered.
"It does that when I'm happy," he mumbled, tilting my chin up to look at him.
Michael leaned in, as I did the same. We were about to kiss. I could feel it this time. Just before our lips touched completely, the door to Michael's dorm opened.
Laying my head back on his chest, I silently cussed.
In walked Luke and Nicole, with a pizza box in hand.
"Again?" Nicole asked, glancing at me and Michael.
"Yup. Damn you Nicole," I groaned.
She gave me a cheeky grin, as Luke and Michael gave us confused glares.
"Anyways, are you two hungry? We were about to devour this pizza and then go see a movie." Luke said, putting the pizza down on his bed.
"I'm up for the movie." Michael grinned, looking down at me.
"Jesus." I mumbled, shoving my face against his shirt.
"We were planning on seeing the fifth paranormal activity movie. You guys can so come if you want." Nicole offered.
My head shot up at the mention of that movie. "We're going," I said sternly. "But Michael, if you make one stupid remark, I'm duct taping your mouth shut."
-
"That guy kinda looks like Calum," Michael whispered, earning a loud laugh from Luke. Nicole slapped her boyfriends arm in attempt to shut him up, but it didn't really do much. He kept laughing, and the people around us in the theater didn't seem too pleased.
