This Au came to me as I was thinking about a different one that was entirely different then it. What if After Rainbow quest Sabre 'dies' in the Past since well, humans can only live so long, and since he's Well, Sabre and Determined he possesses a robot instead of going on into a afterlife. The Robot would be a old one that was possibly made by the Professor Before the Assistant, so a prototype. Sabre Would either Wait for it to turn into a time that's after he goes into the past to keep the world safe to let People know that the Robot he possesses is still active.

Or who knows, maybe Sabre would create A new Timeline where he helps, to him, his past self and The Professor since that's who would have either Created the Robot or found the Robot he possesses. He would most likely go by whatever the Robot's name is if it has one or make one up that's not Sabre if he cause a new timeline to exist.

If He did Cause a new timeline (Which he probably would cuz he would get bored of sitting around doing nothing) He would know everything that Cannon Sabre does as in, he knows what will happen to his (to him) Past self. So he can stop most of the Bad things from happening to him, such as Nightmare killing him.

Sabre would probably start to care about all of the Red steves Including the Red Leader and the Professor More as like family to him since to they're knowledge he's just a robot.

However Sabre may not be the Only one to possess A robot >:D

What if Colle, The second hero, also possesses A robot made by the Professor that was also thought to be offline? If he does, in the Main timeline he wouldn't do anything since well, he doesn't really learn how to fully control the Robot until Sabre comes along in the Separate/ future timeline.

Cue these two becoming besties and hinting at why they're the way they are without fully letting anyone truly know. Also Cue Sabre finding out a lot of stuff he probably shouldn't from Colle About the history and making him mad about the Fact that a lot of the Steves hated or disliked each other now because of the different colors when in the Beginning they were just glad that there were other colors.

Also Who knows, maybe Sabre would kidnap his past Self to warn him about things. Or hey, maybe He would Stop the Professor From Kidnapping him during that time. There's a lot of Ideas that can come with this Au. (I'm putting it up for Adoption since I want to see what someone else would do with it)

Here's Some head cannons that are a need to know

-Colle and Sabre are besties (and Both are traumatized from everything they've gone through)

-Sabre totally Pranks everyone along with Colle

-Sabre only has the Robot he Possesses Charge when he has to (Otherwise he's a workaholic)

-Sabre and Colle can Possess any robot or machine, Or even a steve, although they normally stick with the Robots that they first possess

-Whenever they possess something what they possess either has it's eyes Change to the color of they're eyes or has a Glow around it that's the color of they're eyes.

-Assistant Steve knows about Sabre and Colle possessing the two but doesn't say anything about it since he thinks it doesn't matter.

-Sabre Is sassy to EVERYONE and Often calls Assistant Steve names and Assistant Calls him names Back.

-Colle Is like a mother to everyone that he cares about and makes sure they get rest even if it means he has to force them to.

-Blue Steves can see ghosts and often try to get Sabre and Colle to go to the Afterlife (They both refuse)

-Sabre is almost as Insane as the Professor sometimes and Understands what sounds that nonsense from the Professor.

-Sabre definitely would Smite Sol and Nightmare if he did go with the making a separate Timeline route

-Sabre is the Judge >:D So ya'll know how he died and became ghost boi in order to possess things

-Colle gets a new found hate for the RQ Leaders after he finds out what they did to Sabre (His Brotha-)

-Sabre totally tells Time and M who he is since he knows he can trust them.

-Shadow is like a virus in this when Sabre does possess The Robot, although he can't control that often since Sabre makes sure to not let it happen

-Sabre definitely Would try and convince the Red Leader to let the Red steves come out of hiding in the separate Timeline. As well as make sure He doesn't turn into Hypno since he already deals with one of those

-Hypno definitely would mess around and scare people in the Separate and or Future timelines just for the fun of it, although he avoids his Past self

-All ghosts have wings and can fly, imagine the Chaos that this would cause if Sabre and Colle could touch things as ghosts

-Colle is still afraid of heights but not as much as Before

-Seer Can technically Possess things since he's a ghost as well but he's also stuck near Void 24/7 so he also can't really do anything, although in the separate Timeline Sabre would try and free him instead of killing void

-Sabre be making sure nobody hurts his new found family no matter what

-Ghosts can become Physical if they get Extremely Angry, although when that happens they turn into however they looked like right as they died (You can have Sabre look like anything >:D Same with Colle!)

-The Professor definitely figures it out later on and is Confused as heck about it

-Sabre would smite Void if it wasn't for Seer

-M can see ghosts (Because why not, let him see Sabre and Colle >:D)

-Professor Red and Colle are biological Siblings

-Sabre don't like his old world

-Sabre would Smite the First curse aka unnamed if it weren't for the fact it may release him, so instead he makes sure that his past self (If in separate Timeline) doesn't get anywhere near that area of the Village

-Sabre does not let the darkness be destroyed in the separate timeline, instead he would seal it again and make sure it stays sealed

- ghosts don't age nor need to sleep

dang this Is probably the most I've written for a adoptable au, Someone please adopt this and make a book!
