So once again I've managed to not update on the correct day. But I think it's been exactly a week, so I'm not too far off, right? Let me know what you think! Votes/comments are always appreciated. :D

Thoughts swirl around my mind in a dizzying whirlwind. Two weeks have already passed and I haven’t gotten anywhere with Romanov. It’s frustrating, but I know that I just have to be patient. He’s biding his time, waiting for the perfect buyer. I’ve spent the past fourteen days going over the files in his computer over and over, combing through every tiny thing for a hint of a spark. But so far, I’ve only found a handful of possibly important but not really significant emails. Hearing footsteps on the linoleum floor, I look up to see Caroline approaching with a smile.

    “You honestly are the best.”

I glance down at the shoes I’m cleaning and then back up at Caroline. Laughing, I give her a shrug and place the finished shoes in their spot under Liam’s completed outfit. I stand up and dry my hands on a towel.

“I’m just doing what you asked,” I point out.

She shakes her head and turns to finish sorting out all of the other boys’ outfits for on stage. We quickly figured out a process and I’m just starting to get the hang of it. I’m in charge of Louis and Zayn’s wardrobes. Every show, I have to set their outfits out in order beforehand. Then during the show I fold the clothes nicely and put them in the pile to be washed, while the shoes go back in each respective bag as they change. Except I’ve already finished Louis’ and Zayn’s stuff, so I’ve moved on to helping Caroline with the other three. Just as I put the last of the sneakers under Niall’s outfit, the door opens and the boys come in from soundcheck. Lou did all their hair and makeup beforehand, so they all immediately start to change. Now here’s the thing: I’m used to people stripping and changing clothes in front of me. Four years of spy training has left me far from squeamish. But usually that was just girls because we have separate lockers for Physical Training. It definitely took several days to stop gaping when the boys striped down to their boxers right in front of me.

    “Have a good soundcheck?”

Liam looks over as he buttons his jeans. He nods with a smile.

“Yeah. You can hear the fans outside from the stage. It’s mad.” But I know by the grin on his face that he enjoys every minute of it. I smile back at him and go to check on Louis and Zayn.

    “You two good?”

They both nod, distracted by their task. I step to the side and watch as Louis nearly falls over pulling shoes on to his sockless feet. I press my lips together to stop from laughing and turn to look at Niall and Harry. Niall is fully clothed, in his red shirt, denim-and-leather jacket, and jeans, high tops sticking up over his pant legs. Harry is mostly there, only having shoes left as he pulls on his t-shirt with a slight scowl of concentration. Watching them all, I can’t help but laugh.

“What’s funny?” Niall asks with a good-natured grin as he comes over.

“Nothing,” I give a small shake of my head. “It’s just that you all look so deep in thought. It’s only putting on clothes. This isn’t rocket science.”
