Hey everyone! I know, I know.... I haven't updated in like a month. I'm so sorry!! I'm been really busy taking care of the house while my mom was gone and working. Hopefully things will stop being so crazy and I can start posting regularly again.

Hope you like the chapter! If you do, a comment and/or vote always helps. ;) Love you all!

It’s been a week since Paris. I don’t know how to explain what happened that night in Louis’ hotel room, but ever since things have been different. We’re not really a couple, not officially. Yet there has definitely been a noticeable change. At the moment, we’re all gathered in Liam’s hotel room, or at least four of us are. Louis is off somewhere talking to his mom and Niall disappeared ten minutes ago searching for food. So it’s just me, Harry, Liam, and Zayn, who’s being anti-social and sulking in an armchair to the right of me. I don’t know why he’s even here if he’s just going to be a grump. He’s scrolling through his phone with a scowl.

“What’s his problem?” I lean over towards Liam, gesturing with my head to the dark-haired boy. Liam glances at me, then at Zayn, and shrugs.

I sigh and look up when I hear the toilet flush. Harry emerges from the bathroom and I smirk at him.

“Took you long enough. What’d you do, fall in?”

“Ha, ha,” he says dryly, making a face.

Harry pauses and takes us all in. Liam and I are spread out on the sofa, him on the end and me in the middle. After a moment a grin spreads over Harry’s face and he runs at the sofa. Too late, I realize what he’s doing.

     “No, don—Umph!”

His body slams onto my legs and I clutch my stomach, which has just been impaled by Harry’s elbow. Liam gasps and splutters beside me as he doubles over in pain. Harry grins up at me, his head a few inches away on the sofa. I glare at him. Reaching out, I ruffle his curls.

    “You’re a jerk!”

He scrambles into a sitting position with protest, shaking out his hair with his hands and flipping it back to one side. Harry sends me a scowl and I just smile sweetly back at him. Standing up, Liam steps over me and tackles Harry. I laugh as I watch them fall to the floor and start to wrestle. It’s really amusing, to be honest. They’re so bad it’s funny. I mentally correct them, biting back the words begging to escape. It’s not like I expect them to know anything, they’re just normal people. But still, it’s harder than I’d expect to hold my tongue. Liam is actually pretty good on a novice level. I wonder if he’s ever taken lessons. The others, though…their form is atrocious. Harry finally scrambles away, panting for breath while Liam grins at him in triumph. Glancing over, I notice even Zayn is watching them. He doesn’t look quite as pissed off as he has practically all morning.

“My turn!” I bounce from the sofa, grinning. I can’t help myself. They’re practically begging for it. Liam looks at me with uncertainty shining in his warm chocolate brown eyes. It’s so cute that he thinks I’ll get hurt.

     “Whose butt am I kicking?”

Liam and Harry share a look and the latter raises his shoulders in a shrug.

“Seriously you guys, come on. I’m not a porcelain doll. I won’t break, promise.”

“All right…” Liam says reluctantly. “I’ll go easy on you.”
