Chapter Twenty-Six
-Lilah-
I walked down to the local café that Olivia happened to work at. I wasn’t here for her… Well I guess you could say I was but mostly I was here for Zayn. He told me specifically what he liked in a girl and her name just flashed in my mind. If only I can get her to go on the blind date.
“Lilah, what are you doing here?!” she asked sweetly with a full smile on her face. I snickered at how Zayn would definitely love her to bits.
“I have a favor to ask of you. Do you mind taking a short break?” her face fell at my words but she managed to leave a small smile.
“Franco!? Cover for me!” she shouted behind her to a tall Mexican guy who was tall and quite buff.
We took a seat near the window, looking out into the fresh layer of snow that was falling down harder than usual. I looked up at her but she was fixed on the birds flying around in the sky.
“I have a friend,” I blurted getting her attention. “He… he’s not himself these days I guess you could say. I talked to him and well… I thought you’d be perfect for him.”
“Who is he exactly? I swear if it’s that guy-“
“It’s a friend of Harry’s. I’ve known the guy for two years. He’s definitely not a jerk and if you don’t think so its only one date,” I cut her off her ramblings.
“When?” she asked sounding unsure of my words.
“Tonight I think he said? I don’t remember. I was just about to go talk to him actually. I’d ask you to come but that’s not the idea of a blind date.”
“What does he look like?”
I had to think about how to tell her it was Zayn but not exactly saying his name. “He’s really cute! If I wasn’t happy with Louis, he’d be my next choice. He’s definitely your type.”
She looked out the window, focusing on nothing in particular. I couldn’t detect whether she was unsure or if she was just pondering the idea. If she said no, I don’t know who else I could find that would fit Zayn as perfectly as she would.
She looked back at me with a smile on her lips. I knew that she would say yes just by the way she was smiling. “I’ll do it if… you help me get ready.”
I nearly jumped from my seat at the table from her words. I smiled back and gave her a huge squeeze. She hugged back and laughed at my enthusiasm.
“You can probably come over at like 5. I’ll definitely make you look irresistible.” She nodded as we parted away from each other.
“Now get back to work! I don’t want you losing too much pay because of me.”

I knocked on Harry’s door once I left the café I was previously at. I definitely needed to see him considering everything that went down a few days ago. I wasn’t mad anymore, I just wanted some advice.
He swung the door open and smiled once he saw it was me. I didn’t waste any time before launching myself in his arms, desperately needing a hug from him. He squeezed me close to him, patting my back in attempt to calm me down.
He opened the door so I could come in. I sat on his red couch and he did the same.
“Is everything okay, Li? You seem a lot downer than you did last night,” he said making me look into his identical eyes.
“Far from it actually,” I blurted, looking down at the grey carpet.
He let out a sigh like he wasn’t so sure he was ready to tell me something. I had a good idea who and what it was about but I tried to keep him out of my mind.
