CHAPTER 20 (EPILOGUE)

*5 YEARS LATER*

"Babe.." Marcel groaned to his husband. "Bo's diaper is extremely full, and I can't handle it.

He carried their youngest baby girl like a grenade made of poop.

Zayn tousled his hair and took the baby from Marcel.

"Fine. But you're on playdate duty." he said, pointing to the family room filled with rowdy children.

"Deal." he smiled.

He sat on the sofa and watched the seven children in front of him. Marcel was amazed that all their friends have already had so many children in just a few years.

His thoughts were disappearing as he saw two toddlers fighting over a toy carz

"Kai Horan and Carson Payne! That is enough. There are plenty of othe rcars to play with." he said to the two blond boys.

"But Uncle Marcel.." The boys whined in unison.

"No buts. You don't want me ringing up your dads and mummies, now do you?"

They shook their heads and moved on from the mini vehicle.

Marcel sighed and continued to watch over the children.

"Babe! Our friends are coming for dinner and to pick up their kids!" Zayn shouted from another room.

"Alright!" Marcel turned to the kids. "Kids, your parents are coming, so let's get ready so you can make your dads and mums very happy, yeah?"

A few of the kids nodded and helped clean up the playroom.

Someone knocked on the door in time for the flat to be in ship-shape.

"I've got it!" Ruby, Marcel and Zayn's own five-year-old said as she ran to the door.

"Hi Uncle Liam and Niall! Hi Auntie Perrie and Leigh and Jesy and Jade!" she smiled.

The parents greeted the child and walked in.

Each couple walked in, hand in hand. Liam and Jade, Niall and Perrie, and Leigh and Jesy.

"I guess we were gay too!" Jesy had said when her and Leigh Anne first came out as a couple to their friends years ago.

Each couple came and grabbed their children: Niall and Perrie had Kai and Diane, Liam and Jade had Carson and Ty, and Leigh and Jesy had Cheska, along with Marcel and Zayn, who had Ruby, Casper and baby Bo.

"We have exciting news!" Leigh smiled when everyone made it to the dining room.

Jesy glowed alongside her fiancé. "We had a doctor's appointment last week to have another baby, and now, I'm pregnant!" she smiled.

Everyone cheered for the couple.

The friends and their children enjoyed a nice dinner like old times, and discussed their ever changing lives.

A few of those announcements were that Zayn was getting his own art gallery in London in a few weeks, Perrie was adopting her fifth dog and second cat, Niall and Liam had written a few songs for huge pop singers, Jade, Leigh and Jesy were starting a fashion line and Marcel was soon to become a translator in Japan in a few more years, of all places.

"So much is going on in our lives! Remember in senior year when we were all worried about Cher?" Perrie laughed. "I wonder what that thirsty prick is doing now these days."

Things were different for everyone. They all had just started their lives, and have created new lives as well. Everyone had figured themselves out for the most part, and all they had left was to imagine what tomorrow would bring.
