Chapter 22 ~ Epilogue

"Are you ready? " Lysander asks, while a grin takes over his face. -"No, and to be honest I think that I never will be. " His smile gets wider and he steps towards her. "I think you are ready. You were always ready. Since the first time our eyes met. " HIs smile infects her and she eventually starts laughing. He takes her hand and together they go out onto the big field, where hundreds of their packmembers wait for them. Jane starts being nervous again but relaxes when Lysander squeezes her hand a bit tighter. "I know a lot has happened lately, but now that everything is cleared up, I want to introduce you to your Luna officially..."- The crowd starts clapping and cheering but Lysander end it all as he raises his hand.- "...and I  am happy to say that your Luna is pregnant. " After a few silent seconds, the cheering and the clapping returns, only louder. "You didn't have to say that yet. " Jane scolds her mate through their mindlink. The tone of her voice is alarming him but he is relieved to see a small smile plastered on her face as he looks down down to her. He wraps his arms around her and smiles. "But I am so proud and happy. I want the whole world to know of my happiness. " He speaks out loud and she laughs while shaking her head a little. As they step towards the big crowd of werewolves, Jane and Lysander suddenly get separated. A  big group of male packmembers surrounds him and they are all congratulating him while Jane is surrounded by females. They keep on asking her private questions but she somehow manages to Keep all of them unanswered.

After some amount of time, Lysander decides to hold his mate again and goes to the chatting group of females. The women start giggling as soon as they see him approach, which raises his suspicions. "Where is my mate?" He asks them a bit annoyed. " Oh Alpha, we wouldn't know where she went. She told us that you will have to find her. " He groans and walks towards the forest. "Again with that game, huh? " He grunts through their mindlink, while silently walking through the forest. "You should have known. " She replies. " Aren't you giving me any tipps? " He asks with his normal voice now. "No." He hears her shout and chuckles while turning to the direction that he heard her shout from. Soon, he reaches the all- too familiar waterfall. "Ja..." He wants to call her but gets interupted by a small force crashing into his back. Jane's arms wrap around his back. "I thought that you wanted me to find you. " He mutters and turns around, so that he is hugging her.  "I just wanted to get you alone." She replies and he leans down to kiss her but she moves out of his reach.  She moves back and smirks.

"Mate, why do you have so big eyes? " She asks, seducing him.

- So that I can see you better. " He replies huskily, making her stomach clench.

"Why are your ears so big? " He slowly starts walking towards her.

- "So I can hear you better. " He reaches her and wraps his arms around her waist.

"Why do you have such a big nose? "

- "So I can smell your sweet scent better. " He starts nuzzling her neck and she moans so quietly, that no human being could hear the delicate sound. Thanks to his werewolf- hearing, he is  able to pick up the sound.

"Why do you have such a big mouth? "Her voice turned into a mere whisper by now.

- "So that I can eat you! " He growls before attacking her lips.
