Chapter 10

She starts blushing when her stomach starts to growl. She pushes Lysander away when he starts laughing. "Shut up, I haven't eaten all day." But before she can get further away from him, he takes her hand and pulls her in his arms. "Thank you for telling me, for..trusting me. I really do love you and you can be proud, because you have our pack on your side. You can ask everyone. Luke..David and all the other packmembers. They will always want to fight for you and remember: A pack without a Luna is a fallen pack. " He strokes her hair. "Let us forget about that now, let's go downstairs. " She grips his hand and smiles a bit. When they reach the kitchen, they see three packmembers, three girls. She does not feel alarmed when the girls greet Lysander, she does, however when the third girl hugs him. "Hello Lysander, I missed you. " She says in an overly sweet voice that makes Jane's anger rise even higher. Lysander pulls away fast and looks over to Jane. He almost pisses his pants because of the look she gives the girl. When Jane looks over to him, he gets one step closer to do it. "Brooklyn, this is my mate, Jane! " Just then, Brooklyn sees Jane. She turns her head slowly towards Jane expecting to see a decent looking girl, who had no chance against her beauty but got the exact opposite. She turns around with a confident smile that almost immediately turns into a terrified look when she sees the beauty before her, but that isn't the reason why she is so terrified, no it is the dark glare she sends her and those cold turquoise eyes that promised death if you don't do what she wants. She takes a shaky step back but stumbles and falls down. Jane takes slow, menacing steps towards her and as she stands right above her, Brooklyn almost passes out. "What is it? You look like you've seen a ghost. " She asks in a low voice that made everyone in the room feel small. "L-L-Lun-Luna. " She stammers. "Listen here, if you ever touch or try to flirt with MY man again, I will kill you! "Silence fills the room. Lysander and the girls are so scared, the kitchen turns silent. Even breathing feels hard for them. "I'm going to MY room, the appetite is gone." She spits and leaves the room but not before she shoots Lysander a disgusted look. She storms upstairs and Lysander follows her." Jane wait! Jane!!" He grabs her arm. "Why are you so angry? I understand that she touched me but I pushed away! " Jane stops squirming and trying to escape from his grasp. She smirks a little bit but it is well hidden behind her hair. Lysander, who thinks that she calmed down, starts babbling. "Look I know you're jealous but you..." -"Luke!!" She cuts him off, shouting. He appears almost immediately. "Luna? " He asks, feeling as confused as Lysander does. He looses his grip on her arm. She graciously dances out of his arms and moves towards Luke. She wraps her arms around his shoulders. "It's nothing, I just missed you." Luke is totally flabbergasted, Lysander on the other side growls a loud, low and deadly growl, which makes Luke's eyes widen even more than they already were. In a second, Lysander grabs Jane and pushes her against the wall. "Mine!!" He growls lowly as he pushes his nose to her neck and starts sniffling her. Jane smiles amusedly. "Why are you so angry Lizzie? " She tries to imitate Lysander's voice and smiles even more when she replays her nickname for Lysander: Lizzie. But soon her smile turns into a frown when she feels something sting her neck.
