The majority of the day passes by rather quickly and it's now rolled 'round to evening time. I'm just clearing up the mess that me and rich had somehow managed to make last night. Clearing up the clothes that he took off me sends a shiver down my spine.

I'm dragged out of my thoughts by a loud series of knocks on my front door.

"Okay, I'm coming. Calm down." I mutter to myself with a roll of my eyes.

As soon as i fling the door open I am met with Laura's unimpressed expression. Without a word, she brushes past me and walks straight into the kitchen. She opens the fridge door and reaches for a bottle of wine. She knows me too well.

"Hello to you too." I state sarcastically. All she does is glare at me.

"Why is it that I always have to walk in on the pair of you doing god knows what. I mean you straddling Rich - NAKED, was not the first thing I was expecting to see this morning." She announces with a raised eyebrow, pouring herself a glass.

"Well, to be fair, it wasn't exactly an ideal situation for me either, Lau. Besides-." I begin.

"Did I not tell you to take it slow? I don't give you advice just so you can do the complete opposite. But, credits to you for getting some action for the first time in 3 years." The mocking comment is sent to me with a devious smirk. I suppose I did deserve that for not sticking to her advice.

"So am I gonna get any of the juicy details then?" she questions.

"Lau, it was incredible. It was the best sex i've ever had. His dick what HUGE and I mean huge. He knew exactly what to do I came time and time again. No one has ever made me cum that many times before. But, if you think what you saw this morning was bad, you would've passed out if you saw us last night. It was so dirty" I make sure not to leave out any details because I know she wants to know everything.

"You lucky thing. My husbands like a lost pup in between the sheets. Make sure you stock up on some sex for me. When are you seeing him next?" She questions.

"Tomorrow 7pm. I'm pretty excited to be honest. However, we agreed that we'd cut back on the sex and get to know each other since we've done this all the wrong way around."

"That sounds like a better way to do this whole thing. I will say though, you two are so confusing. I can't tell if you like him or not but then again, you are fucking him."

Her words remind me of the continuous thought that burns through my mind everyday. I can't tell if i'm coming or going with him. It's all so
preplexing - I just want to know where I stand. Then again, it's such early days maybe he doesn't even know himself.

"At least I know me and you are on the same page. I don't know Lau. I want to know where I stand with him but it's far too early days for him to even know himself." I reveal.

"I'm sure he's got somewhat of a clue, Del.
If I was him, i'd be swooping in at the opportunity to bag you. I can't see why he wouldn't do the same babe." I make sense of her words and understand I need to talk to him.

"I hate confrontation, you know I do. Talking about my feelings, especially in person is not my thing at all. I don't know how he'd take it if he knew I liked him."

"I wonder what Simon will think of this as well." She mentions, rather casually.

Shit. How did I not remember that Rich and Simon are friends. My ex-husband's best friend dating his ex-wife, well doesn't that sound like heaven. It wouldn't end well.

"I completely forgot. That just makes everything so much more complicated." An anxious expression apparent on my face.

"I'll give you time to think, Del. It seems you have a lot to sort out." Were the last words she spoke before leaving me stranded with my own thoughts.

I suppose this is more of a filler chapter before we get to find out more about these two love birds.
