~~~HUSSAIN's POV~~~
"Haan mere bhai I will be there on time. Now hang up and let me find the file," I groaned as Faisal lectured me about the meeting that was in two hours.
I know he is far more organised than me but apne boss ko aise koi ulta seedha sunata hai bhala?
"Fine, be there as soon as you can and do read the file before signing," he ordered and I rolled my eyes, going through my bags.
"Bye mommy!" I commented as I pulled the phone away from between my head and shoulder and ended the call.
Releasing a loud sigh, I flipped my bag upside- down and there, in a messy pile of clothes, I finally found it. Damn! I need to put all this stuff in the cupboard too! Ek akele larke ko kya kya karna parta hai.
I chose to read the file over breakfast so I picked up my briefcase and headed outside. Just as I descended downstairs, I saw some shadows by the main door. I frowned when I heard Madiha's voice.
"Wasim Chacha please, I don't have that much money on me right now," she whispered to someone as I slowly climbed down the rest of the stairs.
"Jaise Adil ko diye waise mere bhi paise wapis kar do. Waise bhi kitne mahine ho Gaye," A man with a short grey beard said. His half bald scalp and wrinkled face suggested that He was quite old.
"Exactly, I just paid him and now I don't have fifty thousand. I just have twenty. Please give me a few days I'll arrange your money," she pleaded, handing him a packet and my frown grew deeper. Who is this man?
He snatched the packet and opened it. I watched him as he counted the money, "pata nahi kis manhoos din tujhe apne paise diye the maine."
He finished counting and looked up with a crooked smile on his face, "teen din bad aaunga. Agar nahi diye paise toh iss baar tere abba se nikalwaunga."
"N-No please!" Madiha joined her hands together while he chose to ignore them, "don't tell abba anything, you know he is a heart patient. Uncle please!"
"Theek hai theek hai," he grunted while Madiha stood there with her head hung low.
"What's going on?" I found myself asking and Madiha looked up at me. She looked shocked and had tears In her eyes.
Quickly looking away, she wiped her eyes and looked at me again, "nothing, please leave."
I frowned.
"So he is the new guy in town," the man behind her asked and Madiha looked at him. "Yeh... Wasim chacha... He is our new paying guest."
"Jawan larki ke hote hue...." Wasim mumbled loud enough and shook his head, "khair mujhe kya?" I am not sure if I want to use the word 'uncle' next to his name or not.
"Teen din!" He said in a stern tone to Madiha, "or else book a bed in the hospital for Jabir. I don't care. Iss ghar main bhi rehna mushkil kar dunga!"
He was throwing himself in Madiha's face. Does he not have any manner? Larkiyon se baat karne ki tameez nahi hai zara bhi.
"Ek minute," I said as I approached him, "what's up with your attitude Han?"
"Beta, apne kaam se kaam rakh," Wasim grunted at me. Too much anger for his age.
"Uncle ji, gussa sambhal kar rakhiyein. Kaheen aapke liye hi bed book na karna par jaye," I voiced my thoughts with a smirk on my face. Wasim glared at me.
