*~*~~~HUSSAIN's POV~~~
Opening all the doors wide, I checked each one of them, looking for Madiha, and Thankfully, Most of them weren't occupied with guests. There were many rooms on this floor but She was no where. Opening the last one on my side, I prayed for her to be inside, but she was not in there either. Sighing helplessly, I closed the door and leaned against it.
"Hussain, here!" Shehry yelled from the far corner and I ran towards him, ignoring all the people who were starting to gather in the lobby.
Pushing past him, impatient to see Madiha, I went inside the room, and saw someone lying in the bed. I looked at Shehry and he nodded at me, urging me to see who it is.
'Please be Madiha,' I prayed internally as I took off the blanket, just enough to see the face.
"Wahab?" Shehry gasped, sounding as shocked as me. I felt all the anger coming back, seeing him lying here so peacefully.
"Get up!" I yelled at him, pulling him off the bed but he didn't even open his eyes, "wake up, Wahab."
I jerked him by his collar right before Shehry pulled me away. The moment I left Wahab, he fell on the bed.
"I don't think he is going to wake up," Shehry whispered to me while I stared at Wahab, wide eyed.
"He is not dead, is he?" I asked Shehry as a police office came forward to check Wahab. He looked back at Stevens and he instantly pulled out his phone, calling an ambulance.
"Is he dead?" I asked the officer, finding it hard to absorb so much.
"He is just unconscious," the offer spoke and I sighed, feeling a little relieved.
"Arrest the staff!" Steven spoke in his phone again and went out of the room, "I need to interrogate each one of them."
I kept staring at Wahab's lifeless body, unable to move, and soon two men, dressed in white, came in with a wheelchair. They made Wahab sit on it before taking him out of the room.
"Come on, Hussain," Shehry tugged on to my arm, pulling me out of the room. I felt like I was going to go crazy. Every thing was fine this morning; why did it all have to mess up all of a sudden?
We walked up to the elevator and pressed the call button. They had just taken Wahab down so we had to wait for the elevator to return.
"I am taking the stairs," I sighed. I needed some alone time to think and make sense of things.
"Main aau?" Shehry asked but I shook my head, walking past him.
A few hours ago she was there and I thought I had everything. Now she is gone; and nothing feels right. Can life get any messier than this?
I was lost in my thoughts when my phone rang, bringing me back to reality. I quickly answered the call that happened to be from Shehry.
