Hey guys...so I feel like I never update this thing. My problem is that I have a new addiction to the "Shiver" series by ConWeCallLove. If you're into Narry, then definitely go read those books. So that is my excuse for not updating a lot. :)
Also explains a lot of One Direction songs mentioned...

What Makes You Beautiful-One Direction
One Thing-One Direction

Brii POV
Still holding my hand, we made it back to the car. I was mentally having a debate of whether I should literally face-palm my self or kick myself. They both sounded quite tempting at the moment. We walked in silence, and it was a little bit awkward, but I'm used to awkward, so that's alright.
We got into the car, and Jeff started the engine, and let go of my hand that he was still holding. But his hand came right back afterwards. I pulled my hand away and the uncomfortable silence prevailed, a little bit more intense this time.
Why did I have to just go and blow it by loosing my cool in front of Jeff? God d*mn. He probably thought I a messed up kid with a screwed up family. Yet that wouldn't be so far from the truth..
I sighed and rolled my window down, resting my head against the head-rest. And I guess my eyes just closed with One Direction's One Thing playing softly on the radio.

Jeffs POV
I glanced over to the passenger seat of the rental car at Brii; just in time to see her eyes flicker closed.
'Those beautiful eyes...' I thought as my attention returned to the road. 'They just tell you so much about her. You can see the sadness and innocence in her eyes when she thinks nobody is looking. And you can see how they immediately light up and sparkle when she smiles or laughs...'
"How did you do this to me and not even know?" I asked softly, knowing full well I wouldn't get an answer.
A couple minutes later I pulled into the hotel parking lot. Brii was still dozing, and I hated to wake her up, but it was almost time for me to meet up with the guys for dinner.
I shook her lightly, and she whimpered softly. I looked away, "This girl is going to be the death of me." I muttered under my breath.
I sighed as I turned back to Brii. Her eyes were focused on me, her eyebrows quirked in confusion, her mouth slightly parted. My breath caught and for a while we just started at each other.
I cleared my throat and smiled lightly, which she returned with a sleepy little grin.
"We should head in," I said, gesturing to our hotel.
"Ugg, reality! No! Don't make me go back!" She sighed and laughed, her beautiful blue eyes sparkling.
"Oh please! This is vacation!" I deadpanned.
"I know, but there's people in there!" She whined.
"Oh..poor baby! Too bad." I mocked her. She smiled at me, and her previous words sinking in as I made sense of them, "Hey!! I'm a person too!" I argued.
"You don't count! You're....different..." She replied.
"Is that a good thing or a bad thing?" I questioned, smirking, trying to cover up what this question meant.
"That's a good thing." She smiled and hopped out of the car.
We walked into the hotel together, our hands occasionally brushing. Brii shivered. "You cold?" I teased.
She shrugged, looking at the floor as we walked. "Um...the AC must be cranked on." The blush creeping onto her face gave her away, but I let it go and just laughed. She punched my arm and glared at me jokingly.
I reached out push the elevator button, but she just slapped my hand away, and hit the button herself. I stuck my tongue out at her and she chuckled, rolling her eyes. She walked into the empty elevator, her hips swaying slightly as she walked. Not that I noticed...
She cleared her throat and I looked up her body to meet her piercing blue eyes. "Eyes are up here." She said, one hand on her hip, the other pointing to her eyes.
It was my turn to blush.

We got off the elevator (Like, six hours later, due to the fact that there were like twenty floors and both of us were staying on the top floor.) she led the way to what I was assuming to be her room.
"No way." I said chuckling. How ironic...
"What?" She asked, turning her head and flipping her hair non intentionally. The lyrics, "The way that you flip your hair gets me overwhelmed." from 1 Direction's What Makes You Beautiful, runs through my head.
"Your rooms right next to mine!" I exclaimed, pointing to her door and to mine. She rolled her eyes, "Can this get any weirder?" I asked to nobody in particular.
The elevator "dinged" and a little boy came running out, followed by two parents. The boy raced to Brii and hugged her.
"Briiiii!!!!" He exclaimed excitedly.
"Yes, yes it can." Brii informed me, smirking.

Sorry that was a really short chapter, but at least I updated, right?
So I'll try to update on Sundays and possibly Tuesdays/Thursdays, depending on the kind of/how much feedback I get from these next few chapters. I'm thinking of entering this book in some kind of contest, but I'm not sure what kind so far...oh well.
Comment, Vote, Fan, whatever...
Later,
Lila
