Picture is Jason

Instead of going to lunch with my other peers, I headed to my favorite bathroom stall. I couldn't handle the stares and whispers people gave me.

Swiping my blade from my pocket, I pushed it down to my wrist. After gaining the satisfaction I needed, I shoved the blade back in my pocket.

I pulled out a pack I cigarettes I stole from my dad. Smoking wasn't really my thing, but lately I found myself stealing more and more of my dad's. Clicking the lighter a few times, it came to life and lit my cigarette. I slid down the tiled wall taking puff after puff.

...

After school I waited a few minutes for the students to clear before walking to Jason's classroom.

His face lit up at the sight of me and pulled me into his arms. "Hey, I'm glad you came."

I melted into his arms, relishing in his cologne. "Yeah I'm glad I came too."

Jason held me in his arms for a few more moments before pulling away. "Let's go home."

My heart swelled at his statement. He didn't call it his home, he just called it home. Which is honestly what if felt like.

The car ride to his house was silent. Not the awkward or scary silence, but the nice and peaceful silence. After he parked his car, he ran to my side to open my door for me.

"A true gentleman," I smirked.

On instinct, my head whipped up the street in the direction of my house. My house wasn't visible from Jason's, but it always felt like my father was watching me. He's probably sitting in his recliner getting high, waiting for me to come home.

Jason led me through the front door with his hand on the small of my back. Shivers ran up my spine from his touch.

"I'm going to take a shower, you can settle anywhere you'd like." Dirty thoughts were planted in my mind as I thought of him in the shower, but I shook them off.

I followed him upstairs, parting ways as I set the duffel bag I always carried around in the guest room. My backpack was also filled with necessities, just in case. Soon enough, I became bored and made my way to Jason's room. The water was still running so I plopped on his bed and flicked the television on.

Jason

I pulled on a pair of sweatpants before exiting the bathroom. I saw Parker lying on my bed. The corners of my mouth tugged into a smile at the sight. She looked so at ease.

"Glad to see you've made yourself comfortable," I said causing her to jump. Her eyes scanned my shirtless chest, but quickly met my eyes again.

"Sorry, I didn't want to be alone."

I shook my head to say it was fine before grabbing a somewhat clean shirt from the floor and slipping it over my head.

A devious thought popped to my mind. Parker gave me a questioning look and I walked to her. I began to shake my head much like a dog, the water droplets in my hair soaking her.

"Jason!" She squealed. I continued to shake my hair, ignoring her pleas to stop. Parker snatched my towel from the floor and dried my hair fully, before drying herself off.

I sunk to lay on my bed, pulling Parker down as well by the waist. We both faced each other, my hand rested gently on her hip. Moments like this made me completely forget she was my student. But she is your student. My hand retracted from her hip and fell to my side.

Parker began raking her hands through my hair, and it took everything in me to not release a moan. "How don't you have a girlfriend?" she blurted out.

I was a bit taken aback by her question "Well I had one. I broke up with her before I moved to Virginia, and then I met a gorgeous girl here," I stated causing her to blush. She knew I was referring to her.

"Where did you live before here?"

"Pennsylvania. It was an easy move, only a few hours from here."

She nodded before slowly closing her eyes. In this peaceful moment I took in her serene beauty. I reached over to move her long brown hair that covered her insanely perfect face. Every part of this girl was indescribably beautiful. She didn't deserve the way her father treated her.

It was hard to believe a seventeen year old girl was making me feel this way. I'm just a substitute for the year. Maybe we could be together after she graduates. If she even wants to be together.

I shut down the internal battle I was having with myself and slowly drifted into sleep, with Parker in my arms.

Parker is back living with Jason! I loved writing this chapter it really shows the extent of Jason caring.
