My school attendance and work bad improved quite a bit the past few weeks. I needed to think of graduation at this point. There was no way I was spending an extra year in this hell hole. Fortunately, it was the day before Thanksgiving break, so there wasn't much work.
While nearly every student lives days like these, I despised them. I just sat alone in the corner and listened to music while everyone chatted. In math I studied Emma, or Miss Richards. It still astounded me that Jason would stay with me after she back. I wouldn't bug him about it anymore though, I knew he loves me.
I happily made my way to music early fifth period. I smiled as I saw Jason sitting with his feet propped on his desk, reading a book.
"Hey," he grinned when he saw me.
"Hey," I said, taking my seat.
"You know my grandma and sister are coming over today, right?" he asked, standing in front of his desk and leaning on it.
"Yes, the guest bedroom is all set up."
"I think they're brining my cousins as well. Tyler is a few years younger than me, and Becca is your age. Your real age," he smirked.
"And where are we supposed to to put all these people?" I questioned with a grin. He chuckled and shrugged before returning back to his desk as students filed in.
After the bell rang he stood up. "Alright I don't have a lesson in place, so it's a free period. Play the instruments, do homework, whatever. Just please do so quietly," Jason stated in his authoritative tone.
I grabbed a guitar and sat in the corner, mindlessly strumming. Jason's eyes wondered over to me and watched with a cute grin as I played.
At the end of the day Jason picked me up in our spot. I pecked his lips and I entered the car and he smiled the whole way home. It was adorable how the simplest things made him so happy.
When we pulled up there was a carpeted on the side of the house and my stomach dropped. What if it's my father?
I sighed a breath of relief as Jason's family piles out of the car instead of my dad. I left my backpack in the car so they wouldn't question me, and went to greet them.
"Hello dear," Gram squealed as she embraced me. I said hello to Claire as well before Jason introduced me to his cousins.
"Nice to meet you both," I smiled.
"Pleasure is all my gorgeous," Tyler winked. Becca and Jason simultaneously smacked his arms. I giggled and we all entered the house.
"Sorry it's a little small, but it will work," Jason said.
"What do you expect bro, you're a teacher," Tyler chuckled.
"Well at least I don't work in a food truck," Jason shot back.
"Enough boys!" Gram warned, glaring at both of them. It was cute to see Jason interact with his family, something I didn't witness too often.
The guests put their bags down and settled in while Jason ordered some pizza. "So how'd you snag this beauty?" Tyler asked, nodding to me as we all sat in the living room and ate.
"Well I am pretty cute," Jason shrugged, causing us to all laugh.
"Whatever man."
"How about I go rent a movie," Claire suggested and we all agreed. "Parker do you want to come?"
"Sure," I smiled and quickly slid on some Vans.
"Don't kill her," Jason said semi-seriously as he came to peck my lips.
"I won't! Come on Parker," Claire shouted as we entered her car. I have her the directions to the nearest Giant Eagle so we could use the Redbox there.
"So how come you didn't just tell us you're seventeen, and his student?" she asked.
I nearly chocked and my eyes popped out of their sockets. "H-how do you know that?"
"I googled you," she giggled. I nodded and pinched my leg hard. It was a habit I had recently picked up. It left bruises, but it was better than cutting I suppose. "You know we wouldn't have cared. You clearly make my brother happy, something he hasn't been in a long time."
"What about Emma?" I asked.
She looked over at me and chuckled. "I guess they were serious, but he didn't smile like does around you," she observed. I stopped pinching my leg, resting my hands in my lap.
The rest of the drive we talked about random things and got to know each other. I learned she was in her second year at The University of Pittsburgh and had a boyfriend back home.
We decided to rent a comedy and bought some popcorn and soda while we were there. "We brought the goods!" Claire yelled and held up the bags.
"Not a bad movie choice either," Jason stated, wrapping an arm around me. We all settled on the couches and floor to watch the movie. I snuggled into Jason, soon resting my tired eyes.
Suddenly my father's image burned into my mind. I felt every punch, kick, and kiss he had ever given me. I felt trapped in this dream, trapped with him. The first time he raped me played over and over as if it were on repeat.
I shot up in the bed, sweating and gasping for air. Reaching over for Jason, his spot was empty. My heart dropped and I looked over to the bathroom, but it was empty.
Slowly, I crept down the stairs and saw him in the kitchen with a glass of water. I ran over to him and threw my arms around him. "I wasn't gone that long, miss me already?" he chuckled as he set his water down to wrap his arms around me.
I shook my head no as tears escaped my eyes. "No, I had a bad dream. And when you weren't there I-I."
"Shh baby it's okay," he cooed, repeatedly kissing the top of my head. "I'm right here and I'm not going anywhere."
"Promise?" I cried as I pulled back a bit to look into his eyes.
His features softened and his eyebrows scrunched together. "I promise."
I smiled as he kissed me passionately. I had missed these rough and wild kisses. My hands tangled through his silky hair as his wrapped around my waist. I could feel him on my leg and I gasped in pleasure. My hand went south and rubbed him causing him to moan into my mouth.
"Your sister knows I'm seventeen and that you're my teacher," I said in between kisses.
"What? How does she know that?" he panted, pulling back.
"She googled me."
"Of course she did," Jason chuckled before smashing his lips back to mine.
