I felt the car make a sharp turn , then stop. I jolted as I felt the car stop and opened my eyes.

"Sleep well?" Magnus asked.

"Yea.. I guess."

"Great. Hurry we don't have much time. Plan is, go in , and get out." Magnus hurried out the car.

"What kind of shit plan is that?" I followed behind. "We need to blend in with the others. Act like we're there for basic training. Blend in. You have to grab the HQs key card."

"Why me?" Magnus closed the trunk, handing me my bag and belt.

"I'm obviously More seductive and cunning, so I'll distract, you take the initiative." I suggested as I secured my belt.

"Okay, take this." Magnus handed me an ear piece. "We need to stay connected without drawing attention. If something happens, tell me and I'll be there. Ready?"

"As I'll ever be." I turned to walk towards the large gate.

"Name and age." The man at the check in asked. It was a huge line, and there were guards on either side, as well as 2 guys checking in everyone. "Aaron Louis, 21." Magnus said with no hesitation. "Checked! Step into the scanner when you're ready. Hand me all detectable items." Magnus stepped into the scanner without a beep. Next was me, should be too hard. "Name and age." The man asked. "Lila Rose, 18." I stepped into the scanner making sure I had nothing detectable on. Suddenly, the machine went off.

"I snapped my head to Magnus who was already looking at me, both of us confused."

The ear piece...

I widened my eyes as I figured it out, Magnus as well. I'm gonna get caught with it, how did his ear piece not set it off and mine did..?

"Remove all detectable items before we pat tou down."

I looked to my pockets where I had my phone, acting like that is what set the machine off. To be fair, it was probably the reason.

"Remove everything." The man said.

"That's everything.. do you not believe me? That hurts.. it's fine. You're just gonna have to pat me down." I said while sliding down my zipper to show a bit of cleave. I put my hair to the side and gave the 'innocent but not' eyes while biting my lip.

The man smirked"that won't be necessary honey."

He got distracted by my cleave, how awesome..I quickly took off my ear piece and threw it under the scanner. It slid to magnus's feet. He quickly understood and pretended to tie his shoes while he picked it up.

I stepped through without sounding it off. I took all my stuff and me and Magnus started walking away.

"How the fuck did you do that? Do you know what you could've put us through? We could've gotten kicked out." Magnus complained

"How did you walk through it..." I asked.

"Slid into his pocket?" He rolled his eyes.

Great.

We walked down the corridor , Magnus taking long , quick strides, and me picking up my pace to a speed walk to catch up.

Magnus came to a quick stop, leading to me hitting his back.

"Ow." I said while reaching for my nose.
