It's been two years since Lucas moved back to Texas I'm now in high school and dating Austin the guy I met at the airport he's really sweet and I like him a lot I don't really talk to Lucas anymore since the thing that happened between us Maya doesn't like Austin I don't really know why anyway I'm at my locker getting my books out for first period when Austin comes up behind me and wraps his arms around me
"Hi princess" he says
I turn around and come face to face with him
"Hey Austin " I say and giggle
"You ready for history? "
"Yeah" I say while closing my locker
We walk to history hand and hand we go inside the class and take our seats
"Class we have a student returning from Texas" my dad announces (yes he is still my teacher)
"Please don't be please don't be" I repeat quietly to myself
And then he walks in Lucas friar the boy who stole and broke my heart
"Welcome back mr friar my dad says "take your seat please"
He looks around the room, and spots me he winks at me and I just roll my eyes annoyed at him he then looks mad at my reaction he takes a seat a few feet in the back of me and puts his feet up on the desk.
"Mr friar please take your feet off your desk " my dad demands
"How about.. No " Lucas says rudely
"Jerk" I mumble to myself
"Brat" he spits back
"Detention mr friar, now "
He rolls his eyes gets up from his desk and walks out of the class room.
"Hey are you ok" Austin asks
"Yeah I'm fine " I say slightly smiling and turn around paying attention to the class one things for sure though Lucas friar is now officially my enemy
