Riley pov
I was walking in the hallway when I saw Lucas looking deeply at his locker. I went up to him and saw he was looking at a picture... Of us. I tapped him on the shoulder and he's eyes looked like life was sucked out of them.
"Um hi Lucas." I said looking down at my feet."Hi Riley" he said looking at me "Um how-" but he walked away before I could finish my sentence. I chased after him. "Wait Lucas!" I yelled. "What" He snapped at me. I took a step back shocked and a little scared. "Um I was just gonna say How are you." I said not looking him in the eye He laughed bitterly and said. "Really that's all you have to say well let's see the girl I love broke my heart how do you think I am!" He spat at me
"Hey! I'm the one you used. why are you broken hearted wasn't this all part of your sick plan." He's eyes turned black and it kinda scared me. He slammed me against the lockers. And whispered in my ear. "Your little boyfriend won't be able to do this." When I felt his breath on my skin it made me shiver. He kissed me very passionately. He pulled away and pinned my hands against the lockers. "Face it sweetheart he can't make you feel the way I can." He winked at me and then started walking away but I grabbed his arm before he walk any further. "Lucas I'm sick of this." I said. "Sick of what?" He said confused. "One minute. You hate me then you're kissing me. your giving me whiplash here. Can't we try to be friends?" I said honestly.
He looked hurt. "Look tell me something first." He said. I nodded "yes" and he continued. "Do you still love me?" He asked looking me straight in the eyes. "N-o I don't love you." I stuttered looking anywhere but at him."Then I can't have anything to do with you anymore. and I definitely can't be friends with you." He said. "What why not?" I asked my voice starting to creak."Because I may have made a mistake. And I do admit you were a mistake. But it was the best mistake I've ever made." He said and then walked away leaving me speechless."I do still love you." I whispered to myself
