"I don't know! I think he knows we're onto him! I mean, what if he isn't a man? What if he's one of the students? I mean, think about it. All students? All at the same school? No other school? Just that same high school." Everyone nods while I put the pictures of all the victims on the board. I'm close, I can feel it. But no other body popped up. He knows we're coming but I need more evidence.

"What about the gas station owner? He's not a student.  And the four boys wasn't students at the school-" He was a point. Why would he step out of school grounds?

"Maybe, they were in the way of something. He came, robbed the store? The boys saw, and he couldn't let them get away?" They all write down notes while I think.

"But no money was taken, nothing was taken and all the tapes were gone. I think these weren't connected but the students? Definitely." I shake my head in disagreement. This has to be connected!

"And what high school student is this smart? I mean, he doesn't have a mark. Every serial killer has their special mark. I mean, Dahmer, Bundy, even Jack the Ripper. If these are a coincidence? Why is everyone's death so different?" Everyone nods in agreement hearing such great things.

"Why these particular students? Could it be a race thing? Every student were African Americans. Or the fact they play sports?" The older woman sighs hearing such great points. Gontae was never found. Zayvon was found dead in his bed with his arms missing and fingers down his throat. And the girls? They got it in the hard way. I never seen anything like this before. We were dealing with a serial killer, someone targeting kids. Black children at that.

"You're right, I'm just confused. My babygirl goes to that school and I don't want her to be next. I say we give the order to shut the schools down. Every school in Duval County to make sure everything's safe. Watch the main students. So far, everyone who's close to the victims are Jennavieve Wilkins, Omari Perez, Yani Punkins, and Rori-"

"Your babygirl was on the cheerleading team, right?" Everyone's head turn the older woman seeing her stop her writing. Turning her head slowly, she looks at the woman who sipped her coffee slowly. "I mean, not to be rude or anything but the people you are naming are athletes in some way so why not name your "daughter?" Chuckling to herself, she nods while she takes a glance seeing her Sergeant's face drop from the woman's comment.

"Yes, but-" Standing to his feet, he hisses feeling his aching knee.

"If you keep surveillance on these kids. Make sure we do yours too. That isn't fair. Cassidy is a suspect now too." Nodding her head in shame, everyone looks around while she catches her breath.

"What was that in my conference room today?" Sitting to the large wooden desk, she sighs before rubbing her temples. The other woman sighs wanting justice for these children. She never had a problem with Wells, but why put surveillance on kids but not her own?

"I don't know sir-"

"Better figure it out. You guys are my best detectives. You can't place these kids under watch and expect your daughter to be left out Amber. That isn't right. I understand the suspect is a male but she might know something. Ask her. But for now, we're gonna sit back. And wait until something happens. No surveillance for now. He's blood thirsty, he'll come back."

"Hey baby, how it feels being off your crutches?" She smiles seeing her wiggle her ankles around while her toes cracked in place. "Eww! I hate the sounds of bones cracking!" The much older woman laughed while she giggled and cracked her bones in place again. Cassidy was like her own. She was her daughter in her eyes. To see her all broken up and in a hospital bed broke her heart when she could finally be able to visit the girl. She tried to make time but being a detective was very demanding work. She did what she could.

"Are you sure that this was an accident?" Cassidy nodded with an assurance that it was in fact an accident causing her to sigh. "Tell me again-"

"Mommmmm!" She laughs seeing her roll her eyes in frustration. "Please?" Cassidy sighs before taking a sip of her water. She sighs before thinking back to that night. She felt horrible.

"JD called me and told me he wanted to talk. I needed closure mom and I'm sorry because I know you said to leave him alone." Amber nods while drinking her coffee hearing her sound so sad. JD was way older than her babygirl. When she found out, she had him locked up to stare at the paintless walls and tiny windows not even the tiniest can escape. Of course Cassidy was very upset about the situation but she didn't care. She didn't even know how he broke bail, she wanted him in there forever.

"And when I saw how he looked and how mad he was, I ran because he had a gun. Mom he started shooting at me! I got so scared. Before then everything was going good, I mean we did some things and had fun. But when I ran I kept looking back and a car came. The car wasn't going too fast and the owner stepped out and drove me to the hospital and made sure I was okay. He was so sweet and gentle. He visited me a few times and brought my favorite candy. So no mom, I was under the influence and I was scared but whoever he was helped me the best way he knew how. That's all, leave it alone." Amber looked seeing her eyes never once leave hers. She was telling the truth. She couldn't be angry about it because she finally told the whole story. She was upset about the drugs part but she was there to help her.

"When was the last time you-"

"Two weeks ago. It's been hard but I'm ready for counseling now." Giving her a big smile, Cassidy smiled seeing her genuine happiness. She was happy she was growing up.

"So I guess the boy from school is taken or something?" Cassidy sighed with a light nod thinking about him. She wanted him. She didn't even know why she did because she never even seen him before then. But he was special. She liked how dorky but fine he was. She wondered what he saw in Jenna. She was fat! She was slim and had a nice shape! She could show him things to where his mind was blown. But he wanted the fat girl.

"Yeah by this fat bitch! What does she got that I don't have?!" Amber lightly smacked her cheek causing her to gasp from the sudden slap to her face. Realizing what she done she gasped with his hands cupped to her mouth before hugging the shocked girl. Dropping tears, she whimpered while her mom hugged her tight.

"We don't talk about people like that. Ever! How would your mother react to you saying that?" The young girl cried while she rubbed her back. Her mother was a big woman, a big beautiful woman. She couldn't believe she said that. "I-I'm sorry momma. Why is she better than me? Why is she always better than me?"

"She's ready for counseling baby." She smiles seeing her big smile in the mirror while she did her skincare routine. Licking her lips, she smirked before pulling her back to her front. Evony was much taller than Amber but she liked that. "That's great, why you so touchy, hm?" Amber laughed seeing her try to scoot away from her. "Don't run! Come onnnnn!"

"Y-yes captain?" Closing her eyes tight, she bit her lips to conceal her sounds.

"....."

"I will sir, I'm not one of the best for nothing."

"......"

"Ha ha, I will, goodnight." Hanging up the phone, she bites her lips seeing her better half pop her head from under the covers. Pushing her head back underneath, the woman gasped feeling the cover being put back over her head. "Gon' head and finish."
