"Inmate 5603574!" Hearing the sounds of locks turning and doors clinking, the young woman sat at the table waiting for him. Looking around the room, she makes eye contact with the same picnic on top of a hill stare she fell in love with. He looked so good. His hair was back long and he didn't have his piercings in which made him look too innocent to even be in here. Truth be told, he was avoiding her. He felt guilty.
"Hi." He lifted his cuff hands to wave while she smiled. "We have to talk."
"I love you so much poo. Ugh! I hate seeing you in here like this. I know I'm s'posed to just move on with my life but I just. Be honest with me Omari." He nodded slowly as she reached to touch his hand but pulled back once she heard the guard's warning. "Have you ever loved me-"
"Yes. I always did." She nodded while he looked over the girl who changed a lot. Her hair was longer in a silk press, she had more face piercings, and she lost a little bit of facial weight. She still looked so beautiful to him. "I have a question and don't lie to me. I won't be angry. Anything you never told me?" His eyes lowered as he thought about a few things. She saw the look on his face as she looked at him. Neither guilt or shame. Just blankness in the hillside.
"Is there anything you want to say to me?" He nodded before he leaned in closer. He made eye contact seeing her stare as well.
"J-just move on with yo' life, okay? You're too young and beautiful to be waiting for me. I'm not getting out anytime soon. Move on." He watched as her body fell with a visible sigh. She didn't want to hear that. Everyone told her that but she couldn't. He was her first everything.
"And those plan B's?" She nods telling him to continue.
"Let's just say I'm glad you got your vitamins in after a while."

"This is a great deal! You're facing over 260 years in prison! Life! Take the deal for 50 years with chance of parole if you give them the whereabouts on the body." The young man sat back as three pairs of eyes stared at the young man. He shook his head causing the older man to sigh loudly. He was being difficult. "I have a deal." Amber leans up with an inquiring mind while making eye contact with him as he nodded from his idea.
"20 years and a written agreement with signatures that seals the deal with me because I'm innocent. With a chance of parole. I give you the body and that's my deal." Amber sucked her teeth while he just merely shrugged.
"Innocent? You're not who I thought you were. The whole time we were worried about Benny when it was you." His lips formed into a small smirk as she glared at the young man. He shrugged his broad shoulders before sitting back in his seat. "Benny was just a help, a coping mechanism. I looked into your files. You're a smart man. Very smart, the two hand thing? Brilliant!" She clapped sarcastically as he just blankly stared at the now angry woman.
"But then again?" She smirked before leaning closer, her warm breath fanning over his face as his eye twitched.
"I don't think there is no Benny honestly. You're a narcissist. You lie about the personality disorder to cover your tracks? You were amazing! But you threw it all away because of your "disorder." How pathetic." He nodded with a tight lip smile knowing what she was doing. Looking at the can of grape soda in front of him, he looked back up seeing her smirk.
"That?" He points to the cold iced can of soda that sat in front of him. The men all moved by the woman who just shooed them off as the man leaned over closer to her face. She wasn't scared of him. "Not so smart. And there's a Benny, just not much a Mari. What she didn't tell you?" Her smirk dropped seeing his head slightly tilted to egg her on even more. He chuckled deeply seeing her look so confused.
"Look at my original birth certificate and tell me what it says. There's always been a Benjamin before there was a Mari. And you're right, but I know you been digging around to search for ole dude." Taking a bite from the last piece of burger he had been craving since he had been locked up, he groans tasting the flavors. He chuckled seeing her face all confused and angry. "There ain't just a Benny either. What she didn't tell you? I am Benny, but you got the two confused sweetheart. Benjamin and Benny." Getting up from his chair, he smirked as the older woman huffed. "You're evil."
"If you say so then mmhmm baby. Very." She shook her head as he looked over her. He was always one step ahead.
"You won't find him, but if you come back with some sense? I'll tell you. With my contract. But Benjamin has always been number one." Rubbing his hands together to get rid of the salt grains, he watches as she looked deeply in her mind. Something he had to deal with for some time. It was nice to see it happen to someone else this time. Holding his arms out for the guards to chain him, he looks over his shoulder as they walk him away. "I'll be waiting. A blue pen is preferred. Tell Cassidy to stay on the sidewalks."
