Rishika walked back toward her room, her lips curling into a satisfied smile.
Sakshi had looked absolutely stunning in the saree... Only if she could be there to see the reaction of bhaiya after seeing suku!
But now, she just needed to grab her phone before heading downstairs..
But just as she was about to step inside, a sharp voice caught her attention.
"What do you mean it's not done yet?"
Her eyes followed the sound, landing on Avyansh.
He stood near the window, phone pressed to his ear, his jaw clenched in frustration. Even in anger, he looked maddeningly composed-except for the way his fingers gripped the phone just a little too tightly.
"I gave you clear instructions. I don't care what the issue is-fix it. Now."
He cut the call, exhaling sharply.
And then he saw her.
Rishika leaned casually against the doorframe, arms crossed, watching him with an amused glint in her eyes.
"Kya?" His voice was curt and cold.
"Aise kya ghoor rahi ho?"
She tilted her head, lips twitching as she replied
"Tum sach mein ekdum angry bird type ho na ?"
His brows furrowed. "Excuse me?"
She took a step closer, her eyes dancing with mischief..
"Haan matlab... itni gusse wali vibes hai yaar! Woh tumhara frown, phone ko aise pakda hai jaise bas tod hi daloge... pure ke pure angry bird lag rahe ho aap janab" She said with a teasing smile
Avyansh clenched his jaw. Why does she always have to be like this? He didn't have time for her teasing, yet, somehow, she always managed to slip into his space, effortlessly pulling reactions out of him that no one else could.
"Leave," he said coldly.
But, of course, Rishika didn't.
Instead, she smirked, her eyes twinkling with challenge...
"Oho, koi nahi ek idea hai... thoda meditation karo? Ya phir tumhe walls todne ka shauk hai?"
Avyansh took a slow breath, willing himself to ignore her. Don't engage. Don't give her the satisfaction. But damn it, her presence was so... intrusive!
"Rishika," he warned.
"Achha achha, ja rahi hoon baba," she said, holding up her hands in mock surrender. "Par ek baat bolu?" She grinned..
"Itna gussa accha nahi hota, Mr. Angry bird Blood pressure ka toh khayal karo.."
And just like that, she walked away, her laughter echoing down the hallway.
Avyansh exhaled sharply, shaking his head. Infuriating woman!
What did dada sa see in her!
He should be relieved she was gone. Yes! He should be getting back to work.
But instead, he found himself staring after her, his fingers still gripping his phone- but now, the frustration that had been there moments ago had shifted into something else. Something unexplainable.
And that annoyed him more than anything else..
Sakshi was walking out of her room when she noticed her sister giggling while walking towards her...
"Kis baat ki itni khushi ho rhi hai meri chudail ko " She asked raising her eyebrows
"Areey nothing yaar.. Just the usual " Rishika replied..
"Acha..aur mujhe yahan laga tha madam pachta rhi hogi shadi karke per inki toh hassi he nhi ruk rhi" She asked with a teasing smile
"Areey pachtaye mere dushman meri behan hai mere sath mai kyu pachtaungi bhala " She replied..
