I walk past helena's nursery and stop at the door. I peek inside and see mikey rockimg her.
".... and if you carry on this way.. things are better if I stay.. so lomg.. and good night. So long and goodnight.." he sings softly as she falls asleep.
We were allowed to brimg her home yesterday. I gave birth about a week ago. Because she was two months early, there was a lot of complications with her, though she is fine now.
As soon as we brought her home mikey put her in the "daddy loves me" onesie.
He kisses her forehead and lays her down. He looks at me and walks out of her room, closing the door.
"What are you looking at?" He snaps at me, and I move my gaze to the floor.
"That was really cute.." I fiddle with my fingers.
He scoffs and pushes past me. He goes to the fridge at pulls out a beer.
"Why the fuck are you still alive? You gave me my child. Great thanks. We have no use for you anymore." He yells to me as I walk to the livimg room and sit on the couch.
Man... I wish evan was here... they all left a hour ago..
"I'm sorry.." I whisper as my heart drops.
"Here." He throws something at me. I look at itand see a pill bottle' full of pills. "Try not to wake up please."
My eyes fill with tears and I try to remind myself he is just drunk. I take the pills to the bathroom amd dump them in my hand.
I lock the door and sit on the floor. I cry as I look at the pills.
"Baby...?" I hear mikey knock on the door.
I dry my eyes nd let him in.
"I'm so sorry.." he take the pills and flushes them. " I love you so much.." he kisses me. He hugs me and I cry into his chest.
"Mikey. What the fuck did you do?" I hear. I look at the door and see gee and evan.
Gee grabs mikeys shirt and drags him out, and evan takes mikeys lace in hugging me.
"Tell me everything." Evan sits me down and I tell him, as the boys yell at mikey in the background.
