left... right... left... right...

Luke breathed in and out heavily, sweat was trickling down his face from his forehead.

"Luke Hemmings, what the fuck are you doing?!" Luke heard someone scream and jolted up, the alcohol in his blood soon washed away.

There was a weight on him, but it wasn't Calum. Luke didn't remember what happened, his entire mind was fuzzy.

He saw Calum broke down and fell to his knees. Luke knew Calum was broken.

He frantically pushed whoever that was on top of him away, not caring who it was. Calum had broke and was broken. He ran to his boyfriend, tears already starting to flow like Niagara Falls.

Luke panted heavily, already very distracted.

left... right... left... left..?

The bicycle that Luke was on jerked and sent him flying towards the ground.

"Fuck," he groaned out as a part of his leg starts to burn.

After struggling for a bit to sit up, he inspected the wound he just opened. He reached for his first aid kit and took out some cotton swabs and alcohol wipes to clean up his wound.

"Calum!" He screamed out, rushing to hug the boy who passed out. "Call the ambulance!"

Luke pulled Calum's lifeless body into his embrace, sobbing loudly. He shook the boy vigorously but there was no response. Peppering kisses on Calum's cheek, Luke sniffled and held on tightly to Calum's hand.

"Shit!" Luke shrieked as the alcohol came in contact with the wound, causing a sharp pain on his exposed flesh.

He grunted in annoyance and dabbed the wound as lightly as he could to stop the bleeding. Once it finally stopped -oh how Luke thanked the gods– he wrapped his wound up with the bandage he luckily brought with him.

"Luke! What happened?" Luke heard Michael rush into the room.

"I-I don't know, he screamed my name and then he fainted,"

"Why are you half naked, what have you done?!"

He struggled to stand up, wincing at the bolts of pain that surged through his nerves from the wound, and picked up his bicycle. He could not ride it anymore, the pain from his leg was certainly not allowing him to do so, thus the only thing he could do now is to walk back to campus.

"I'm home!" Luke tiredly yelled as he parked his bicycle on the stand.

He did not get any response— he was used to it by now. Instead he heard a click, signalling that his roommate had locked himself up.

Calum and Luke were now sleeping in two different rooms — which Calum had initiated. He could not forgive, not to mention forget, that night at the after party. He tried to, and he wanted to, very much, forgive Luke and have make up sex after, but every time he was close to doing so, the flashbacks immediately attack him. It was nightmare.

Luke trudged into his room with tired and heavy steps before collapsing onto his bed. He knew he was extremely sweaty and dirty — for the fact that he did fly off his bicycle and across the leafy path in the park, and should probably take a bath to freshen up, but he was too exhausted to move. His muscles ached due to the latic acid build up that was still burning his tissue cells, and he was trying to catch his breath.

He finally mustered up all his energy and dragged himself into the bathroom to take a shower.

After a relaxing hot bath (minus the stinging on his wound which killed the relaxing vibe), he lazily made his way into the living room to watch some television.

When the second episode of Family Guy he was watching was starting, he heard Calum stumble out of his room with his luggage behind him.

"Where are you going?" Luke demanded, sitting up.

He bit his lip nervously when realised what he just did.

"I'm moving in with Michael."

"Why?"

"Because I need time away from you,"

Luke stood up, completely shocked and walked towards Calum.

"B-but we're already in seperate rooms..." Luke mumbled, standing in front of Calum.

"That's not enough," Calum sighed. "Look Luke, I just really need time by myself. I can't bring myself to forget what happened. I'm not saying that I can't forgive you but-"

"But it wasn't real Calum! I was drunk! I didn't know that it wasn't you!" Luke screamed, causing Calum to take a step back.

"I-I'm sorry..." Luke dropped his head down and stared at his feet, not sure of what to say.

"It's okay."

"Are you breaking up with me?"

"No, I mean, I don't know yet."

"So you're saying that you might break up with me?"

"I don't know Luke. My mind is in a mess right now and I just want some time alone okay?"

Calum brought his fingers under Luke's Chin to tilt his head up, slowly leaning in to give him a soft peck on the lips.

Luke was shocked.

He had craved those lips for a long time and it made him felt safe. Calum made him feel safe all the time.

The blonde wrapped his hands around the darker haired boy tightly, their lips still attached to each others's.

Just like how he initiated it, Calum pulled away and returned Luke's hug.

"I love you Luke, so much. I'm sorry."

"I love you too Calum."

Calum let go of Luke and Luke let go of Calum, but yet wanted to pounce on him instead.

But Luke knew he did something wrong and it was his fault that all this happened.

He followed Calum to the door to see him out, the squeaky wheels on the luggage breaking the tense silence.

"Goodbye Luke..." Calum sighed.

Luke leaned in for one more kiss which, to his surprise, Calum gladly accepted it.

"Bye Calum, I love you."

Luke watched his lover leave the door and down the hallway, the back of him getting blurrier as he walked further, before he disappeared into the lift.

He closed the door and slid to the floor with his back leaning against the door. He wrapped his arms around his compressed legs and he began crying, weeping, tearing, with Family Guy still playing in the background on the TV.

He was determined to get Calum back.
