YESTERDAY WAS A GLORIOUS DAY IN THE WORLD OF MEXICAN FOOTBALL. WE PLAYED AGAINST JAMAICA AND SLAUGHTERED, EARNING OUR SEVENTH GOLD CUP TROPHY AND THUS CONTINUING TO BE THE MOST SUCCESSFUL CONCACAF COUNTRY.

i know there was this controversy with costa rica, and panamá (they are still bitter af over it, even making the hashtag #todopanamaconjamaica. they were also talking all this shit, calling us poor and indian. well yeah bitch. aztec lineage and proud of it hoeeeee. then they would say we bought off the refs. like bitch get ur story straight. one minute we're poor indians and the next we're rich gangsters? lol). but we were the clear better team at this final. and there were also bitter costa rica fans and panamá fans saying they were watching the final so they could watch us lose. to that i say: thank you for watching papá take home the cup.

guardado scored the first goal (leaving him as second top scorer of the tournament, behind clint dempsey), then tecatito (my bae) scored the second (the best goal of the final for me), and oribe scored the last. the jamaica guys scored one, but it was far too late for a remontada.

in the end we were victorious.

guardado got the trohpy for mvp of the entire tournament. brad guzan got the award for best gk. clint dempsey got the award for top scorer. jamaica got the fair play award bc they played clean, mad respect for them. and TECATITO GOT THE AWARD FOR BEST YOUNG PLAYER. i love my little beer baby.

yes, mexico didnt deserve to advance to the final. but once there, they proved they were the best team to take home the cup.

i felt bad that chichadios couldnt be there to celebrate since he had to return to man utd. but im sure he's happy for the team.

we really struggled this year. with the constant injuries and the other concacaf teams becoming much tougher. but my boys did it and im so happy and so proud of them.

i will never be ashamed of being mexican.
