Tomboy and AngelValt Aoi was well known in school. His energy and optimism won everyone around him. He was always there for others, whether it was friends or competitions. His smile was his trademark, showing that he believed in his abilities and wasn’t afraid to show his best side. However, beneath that, Volt often felt the pressure, a kind of insecurity he kept hidden behind his charm.
Reader was the new girl in school. Her presence wasn’t loud, but it was noticeable. People looked at her with distance because she had a different approach to life. While everyone else was chasing popularity and trying to grab attention, she was quiet, focused on her thoughts and emotions. She felt she didn’t need a crowd of friends to be happy. While she was kind to those who mattered, she distanced herself from those who weren’t worth her time.
One day, during a break, Volt noticed Reader. Sitting on a bench, she seemed completely indifferent to her surroundings. Her eyes, which seemed cold and focused, were directed towards the horizon, as if she was in her own world. Valt felt an unusual attraction towards her. She was the kind of person who didn’t conform to typical norms, and that intrigued him.
After finishing his training, Valt decided to approach Reader. He wanted to get to know her better, to find out more about her. He was sure she wasn’t just quiet and reserved, but that she had much more to her than she was letting on.
“Hey,” Valt said with a smile.
Reader looked up, but didn’t immediately respond. Her expression was serious, as if she was deep in thought.
“Hey,” she replied, nodding her head, as if acknowledging that Valt wasn’t just another guy trying to impress her.
Volt tried to start a conversation. “Do you have a favorite place to relax? You look like someone who enjoys being in silence.”
“No need for noisy places,” she answered simply. “I just need some peace.”
Valt was puzzled, but decided not to give up. “I know I sound like everyone else, but I’m not like everyone. Maybe I just want to show you something that might interest you.”
Reader raised an eyebrow, not entirely convinced. “And what could that be?”
Valt smiled. “I know you’re probably not the type to get involved in everything, but I want you to see that not everything is as it seems.”
Over the next few days, Valt and Reader began spending more time together. Valt decided to show his true side, the one that wasn’t dependent on popularity or success. He wanted to see if he could earn her trust.
At first, it was difficult because Reader didn’t easily show her emotions, but Valt was patient. In his eyes, she wasn’t just “different,” she was special. They began to understand each other. Valt realized that it wasn’t all about being perfect – sometimes, all you had to do was be honest with yourself.
One day, while they were walking together after school, Valt felt it was the right moment to share his feelings.
“You know,” he said softly, “I think I really started to understand you. We might not be the same, but I think we could be something special. We don’t need to be like everyone else, just... be who we are.”
Reader paused for a moment, looking at him with attention. In her eyes, there wasn’t the coldness there once was. There was something warm, something surprising.
“I think that makes sense,” she replied.
Valt was happy that he had finally discovered that side of Reader, the one that was ready to accept him. Although they both had their insecurities and pasts, their future seemed clearer. They were different, but it didn’t stop them from finding something in common.
