Chapter 2 : The Tragedy

" No... Tatshumi can't die! " Miko thought to herself and when she tried to stands up. The door open. Her father and some villagers stood infront her.

" Otto san...how could you?!" Miko said sadly but firmly.

" Catch the witch! " a villager shouted. Then, the other villager catch her not letting her gets away. Miko shock and she looks at her father.

" Otto san... What's this?! " Miko said and screamed. Her father looks at her with a strict face.

" This is what you get after what you did. " her father said.

" Huh? " Miko looks at her mother.

" Stop talking you witch! Now tell us where's the nine tailed fox! " a villager shouted. Miko start crying.

Her father just stood there unmove. "And u!! Okka san!! U too?!" Miko shouted as loud as she could with tears all over her face. Her mother could only stand there crying.

" Oh stop crying, you witch! Tell us now or we will kill you! " the villagers added. Miko gives him a death glazed. Miko starts to struggle.

" Okka San! Help Me! " Miko said. But her mother didn't look at her. Miko's heart really broke.

" Tell us now! " the villager said and takes out the katana and pointed at her. Miko kept silent. She will not tell them about it even if she will die for it. The villager command the two people which was holding Miko to take her to the backyard. The villagers followed the command.
The villager who commanded the other two villager come towards Miko and pointed the katana at her neck.

" Tell me now! " he yelled. Miko didn't care about him and look at her both parents with teary eyes but with hatred.

" I never thought that you both would do this to me. Okka san.. No.. from now on.. I'm not your daughter anymore. My lord and my lady. Thanks for looking after me since I am born. But now.. Tsk.. " Miko said with vengence in her. She smirks as tears dropping down from her face. Her mother starter crying after hearing her precious daughter said that to her.

"Miko, dear...just tell them and everything will be back to normall.." her mother tried to convince her but she interupted her.

"No!!! Stop saying it when its never going to be normal!!..... (cries) even if I tell you..your are still going to force me to marry some strangers...I rather die here...I will never betray anyone like what are you doing to me now..."

"That's is enough!! As your father and the ministee of war..I demand u to say where is the nine tail fox!!" Shouted his father.

" Tatshumi... Goodbye..." she said to herself. Her father then knew she is never going to say it so he signal a villager with his eyes to kill her.When the villager take the katana and was going to kill her, a voice shouted Miko's name.

" Miko!! "

" Tatshumi??? " Miko quickly turn to the voice's direction. Tatshumi from behind a tree, approach Miko and takes her from the villager and her parents.

" Tatshumi! " Miko shocked. Tatshumi didn't replied her and he only stares at them.

" It's the nine tailed fox! Catch him!! " the villagers said. They start to surround them both. Miko still looking at Tatshumi. She didn't believe that is Tatshumi's here, saving her. Tatshumi held Miko's shoulder and look at her.

"Miko...no!!!!" her mother tried to stop her.

" Hold on. " Tatshumi said and he jumped with Miko in his arm.

They both landed in the woods. Tatshumi told Miko to find a place for her to hide from the villagers. But Miko didn't want to apart from him. But after Tatshumi convince her. She quickly took shelter.

" Catch the youkai! " Miko shock when she heard someone yelled. She quickly follow the voice. It's the villagers and some youkai slayers. Miko looks at Tatshumi. Tatshumi seems really calm. They villagers and the youkai slayers stop infront of him.

" Where's Miko?!! A youkai slayer asked. Tatshumi smirk.

" Tell us now! Or!! " he added.

" You,a useless humans want to kill me? Hahaha...That's the funniest things that I ever heard before. " Tatshumi laughed. The youkai slayer take his bow and a arrow and shoot him but Tatshumi's fast. Tatshumi avoid it easily and he look at the shooter.

" Too bad... " as Tatshumi said it, the other slayers approach him and try to catch him. Tatshumi avoid it like a wind. Miko, who hiding behind a tree looking at it nervously. She didn't want Tatshumi being harm. But when Tatshumi was fighting with the slayers, a slayer who hiding at a tree, ready to release the shoot. Miko saw it and quickly runs towards Tatshumi and hug him to avoid him being shot. Tatshumi shock and he look at his back but the youkai slayer release it and it aimed to Miko's body. Tatshumi quickly hold her. Miko's now got really bad injured. She hold Tatshumi's face who now panicked.

" Tat... Tatshumi.... It's alright.. " Miko said weakly.

" No!!! It's not!! No!! You're not going to die! You're not leaving me!! " Tatshumi yelled. Miko smiled.

" Tatshumi.. I.. I love you....I always have... I will search for you.. i am sorry i didn't told u this earlier... " Miko's eyes slowly close. Tatshumi froze.

" Miko!!! " Tatshumi quickly hugs her thightly. He can't believe that Miko's dead. Suddenly, Tatshumi remember something. Tatshumi kiss Miko and he gave his youkai half soul power in that kiss. With that, Miko's soul will not destroyed but Miko will been reborn again and start a new life with her old soul. Tatshumi put her under the tree and look at them souless. Tatshumi is now not in control, he is too angry.The villagers panicked.

"Miko???!!!" her mother came running. When she saw Miko is now dead, she collapse onto the group, speechless.

" Mister Yoshida's daughter dead!! " one of the villager panicked. Tatshumi's tail getting bigger, his eyes turning red and his teeth and his nail also growing longer. The villagers scared and run away from there.

"How could you.." Tatshumi looked at her mother's direction." She is your own daughter! " Tatshumi screamed. Her mother cover hee face with her hands while crying "I....I...I am so sorry Miko..I didn't meant to.."

The youkai slayers take out their katana and bow and aimed at him. They release the arrow and shot to Tatshumi's body but Tatshumi doesn't feel anything and he kill all the youkai slayer with his nail. Then, he kill the villagers and burn up the village.

After that, he went back to where Miko's is. He collapse onto the group while hugging Miko tightly. He then lift up his face and stares at Miko for a while. Before he dissapear, he kissed Miko for a last goodbye and whispered.

" Miko... I'll always wait for you.... Neither 600 years or 600 years more.. " Tatshumi said crying and he disappeared from that spot....
