Chapter IV

---Shh!---

We heard someone open the door of the library.

"That must be him, you have to go."

"Maybe there's another way?

What if he kills you?"

"We'll just have to see what happens." He shrugged his shoulders as he faced the floor. It almost seemed like he didn't care at all about the risk he was about to take."

"So you're just going to give up?"

___

"I have no choice, I don't want to hide forever." He turned his back and went downstairs.

___

"Lucas! You can't do this, it's just too risky!" I chased him down the stairs but it was too late. He was gone. I took a moment to catch my breath when someone grabbed me by the arm.

___

"Don't scream, just do what I say."

___

He took me to a van parked in front of the library. I got in along with a few other people. There was a guy sitting beside me dressed in white. It was just when I saw his ID that I found out that he was a doctor. There was a lady sitting in front. She had brown hair that had been scrunched up messily into a bun. She was in her mid forties and seemed so familiar. It was almost like I've seen her before. I turned my head and saw a guy sitting at the back of the van. He had his feet rested on the seat and his knees were fixed tightly on his chest. I stared at him for a while and he raised his head and turned to the window. The van was dark so I couldn't see his face.

We passed by a light post and I was surprised that the guy I was looking at turned out to be Lucas. I whispered his name and he immediately took notice. He just looked at me and put his finger on his lips and shushed me. I curled my arms together and sat quietly. I didn't feel safe at all, and the only person I trusted in there was Lucas. We pulled up in front of a huge building and the sight of it made my head hurt. I've seen this place before. It was like my memories wanted to open my eyes to see the truth, but my instincts won't let me. I tried to remember but the more I tried, the more I felt like throwing up.

"I need answers."...
