"Déjà vu"

Have you ever felt like a random encounter may be life changing..?
I am talking about those brief moments you encounter a certain someone for the first time at the bus stop, in a queue at a coffee shop or at the mall.
Or when you walk past a stranger on a crowded street and you lock eyes with them fleetingly?
That exact moment when you make eye contact with an unfamiliar figure and something inside you is deeply shaken... as if you have met them before although, in reality you two are total strangers.
You freeze, you start experiencing flashbacks as you stare in that person's soul.
Memories from a past life arise in the back of your mind, perhaps from another dimension but your body never moved an inch.
Seconds seem like years and years feel like ages in those couple of minutes.
Once you wake up from the vivid dream, you two part ways as if nothing happened but, something deep inside you will never be the same,
as if it's a secret that should have been locked in Pandora's box and supposed to stay hidden away.
Is it, like French call It, a "Déjà vu"?
It may happen once in a lifetime but those type of encounters can scar you forever.
