Chapter 11

They all wait for an answer while I sit debating on telling them whether or not that neither of them came home in the first place. I decide against it.

"I can't remember." I answer.

"Hmm." Brenna hums, "I wonder what made them act so strange then."

"Maybe they both agreed that we are just amazing and they should treat us better!" Stella gushes.

"Yeah yeah, lucky you two." Tasia groans. "You have boyfriends, we don't good for you."

"I have a boyfr--... I mean yeah," Brenna stutters. "Ew boyfriends." She fake gags.

Stella gasp as we all put our full attention towards Bren.

"You have a boyfriend?!" Tasia scoffs rather loudly.

Brenna shushes her before whispering, "I don't want Nash to know, I don't want any of my brothers to know actually."

"Why?" I ask.

Tasia butts in before she could speak, "Well obviously she didn't want her sisters to know either!"

"Oh Tasia," I huff, "Stop being so self-centered."

She shakes her head, adding a scoff as she pulls out her phone and tries to focus her attention on it.

Brenna sighs, running her fingers through her hair. "Why did I even say anything." She mumbles to herself.

"Well it's too late!" Stella pressures Brenna, "You have to tell a us now!"

"Alright." Brenna sighs, "There is a reason behind why you didn't know about my boyfriend.. It's because it's Jake."

"Jake?!" Tasia and I gasp in unison.

"Jake?" Stella questions. "Who's Jake?"

"You mean the douche bag?" I ask.

"Who's Jake?" Stella repeats.

"From like before Wesley was born?" Tasia adds.

"Who's Jake?"

Tasia scoffs, "Why?"

"Who is Jake?!" Stella says louder than the rest of us.

"Shh!" Brenna panics, staring at the door, "I don't want Nash to know. I don't want any of the boys to know for that matter."

"Ugh Brenna." Says Tasia, "Why?"

Brenna sigh, but adds a smile, "Jake has changed you guys."

"Right." Tasia says rolling her eyes.

"Has he?" I ask.

You never know. Nash wasn't exactly Prince Charming when I met him either.

"Yes." Brenna nods. "And I was going to tell everyone soon, but I just wasn't sure how,or even if I was ready."

"Well when ever you're ready for the rest of the family to know, go for it." Stella encourages.

"But first," Tasia butts in, "I want to scope him out."

"What's that mean?" Brenna questions.

"I want to hang out with him."

Brenna only groaned, rolling her eyes.

"Or I could just go tell Bub now." Tasia threats.

"Oh come on Tasia." Stella says, probably feeling bad for Been.

"No. I don't want my sister dating some jackass."

"Fine then." Stella says. "She can meet him, but Babe and I will be there to help you from allowing her to run him off."
