Nash's POV

I wake up in the morning, my body shot up and immediately looked to the right. A small smile cracked on my lips.

It wasn't a dream, she really is home. Oh my God, she is so pretty.

I look to my left to see Wesley laying there sleeping himself. I quietly chair him until I know he is alert.

"What daddy?" He mumbles while rubbing his eye.

I smile, "I got a surprise." I whisper.

"What is it?"

"Look." I say pointing to his mommy and moving forward him to see her.

"Momm--" he says before I cover his mouth with my hand.

I know him too well.

"Shh." I chuckle. "Let mommy sleep. We can go make her breakfast. Do you want to?" I move my hand from bis face so he can speak.

"Yeah." He whispers as quietly as he can.

"Okay, let's be super quiet. Like ninjas."

He nods before making his way off of the bed.

We made her eggs, bacon, toast, a little of cantaloupe, and some coffee.

Wesley insisted that I carry everything up the stairs and he'd wake her up which I didn't really mind the plan considering that was what I was going to do in the first place.

"Mommy! Wake up!" He said pouncing her in the bed.

Slowly but surely she rose up from bed, scratching her scalp before pulling our baby into a tight hug. "Oh honey I missed you." She tells him.

"I missed you too." He replies.

I smile.

"Me and daddy made you breakfast." He finally says peeling his body from hers.

"Oh yummy." Babe smiles.

I walk over to her, sitting the tray in her lap. "Wesley and I are going to get ready for the rest of the day and you just eat up."

"Okay."

Wesley jumps off the bed and scatters his way out. I follow behind up until I make it to the door.

"Nash." Babe calls out.

I turn to face her.

"Can you come here?"

I do as she requested.

I was surprised when she grabbed my wrist and tugged me down to eye level.

Angry eyes stare into mine.

I don't move.

Was I scared? No.

But I was paralyzed by guilt. While here eyes were angry, I know deep down she was just sad. Very disappointed by my actions from one night of my stupidity.

What ever she was about to do or say, I deserve it.

"I love you Hamilton Grier."

I stand corrected.

She abruptly smashes her lips to mine before looking to her plate, not making eye contact.

"I love you too." I stand and walk out.

It's odd. Babe hasn't snapped at me once. She has acted completely normal all day. It's like she totally dismissed the fact that's she's been gone from her mind.
