Chapter 5.

🌹Rose's POV🌹

We made it to cafe it was call universe becuase their coffee and sweets are out of this world. Lame but true they are the best in town.

I walked in and saw Brandan wave over at a booth. Happily I walked over and looked around. This was a internet and book cafe so best place for getting info or hanging out.

Plopping down next to Brandan as he gave me a bear hug and a kiss on the cheek which I turned. I had totally forgot something... I just can't remember.

"So are you going to order and tell me everything?" Nodding I take the menu from the table till I heard a plop across from me.

"Hey πριγκίπισσα it my treat hm?" He looked at Brandan's arm around my shoulder. Oh that's what I forgot... Anteros.

"Oh is that...Greek?" Brandan questioned glancing at me from the corner of his eye.

Shaking my head at his 'did you do it with him' look I looked at the time. The hands ticked so slowly I thought they'd stop ether that or my face would fall off.

"Hey my break is over but you two can enjoy yourselves." Well Brandan dipped fast probably excited to have apartment to himself maybe invite his boyfriend over.

I would of dipped with him if I wasn't so hungry.

" Thirsty? πριγκίπισσα." I gasp did he just call me thirsty!

"No! I'm not thirsty!" I whispered yelled still aware we're in public.

"Ok then don't order a drink. Haha" he knew dämn well that I'd think he was insulting me. But no he was making a fool of me.

Turning my head I saw a girl taking our orders. But she was only looking at Anteros like a love sick puppy. Glancing at Anteros I saw him smirking from the look he was giving me.

"So I'll have dah vanilla cake with lots of strawberries on top." Licking my lips, if he wants to play this game then let's go.

Cammy the rude waitress glared at me as she jotted down my order then went back to drooling over Anteros. She was a brunette and thin I'm sure Anteros digs these type of chicks.

"What can I get you sir? We have great 'service'. I could get you coffee or my number." She fluttered her eyelashes and leaned over towards Anteros showing him her 'service'. I wasn't mad nope I just want to hurl and tear my eyes out.

"Really? That's great I'd like Jamaican bean coffee...black please." His eyes were on me the whole time even as he licked his plump kissable lips. I blushed looking away while Cammy scoffed and went to do her job for once.

"Umm soo tell me about your brother and sister in law." Finding something to talk about I found interested in Anteros life just a little bit.

"What's there to say they've been together for decades, centuries even. Eros is my eldest sibling and I'm the second oldest. Psyche she is mortal... Well was. She was changed in order to live with Eros. So how about you any siblings?" He trailed off just before our food and drink showed up.

"Well I have a momma and dah sistah but me and her don't talk... Thanks for sharing with me...means a lot." I took a bite of the delicious vanilla and strawberry sponge cake. While Anteros stared at me and drinks his coffee. This was pleasant calming even.

I couldn't stop smiling. This was just talking no strings no date just getting to know each other.

I got up and was about to tip when Anteros put down a five. Really? Ok sure do as he will.

Sashaying my butt to my car I said bye to Anteros.

"So um I guess this is good bye?" I waved before entering and starting the engine.

I was sad that I didn't ask for any of his information but if this was destiny we'd meet again right. Hopefully.

I was half way home when I got a call. I shuffled for my phone keeping my eyes on the road. What I didn't see was a man standing in the road my brakes we're good enough to stop in time when I finally hit him he turned to dust. What was happening to my life?

I made it home. Getting out cautiously and scared I had a bad feeling about today. My gut tells me something will happen.

I opened the front door and was surprised to see Shay, Brandan, James and yes even Dio watching horror movies when James and Shay screamed when I entered the room.

I busted out laughing when the realization set in that it was just me.

Going into the kitchen next to the living room I could hear the movie from here.

I guess they were on a double date. There was no need for a fifth wheel right?

I got to my room and saw the white shorts that Anteros let me borrow. I couldn't throw them away so I washed them in the washroom closet down at the end of the hallway.

A note fell from the pocket. Unfolding it I gasped at the message and dropped the paper.

We know where you are and who you love. We're coming for you! -sincerely T *photos of James Shay Brandan and even my mom.*

I would've screamed but I covered my own mouth and I felt my tears roll down my hand. The note means they or him/her were in the apartment and in my room my closet friends aren't safe.

I picked up the note and photos. Crinkling the note I had tossed it in the trash bin. I have to protect my friends and my family.

Walking back to the living room I brought my blanket and popped in front of the couch while the others cuddle on the sofa.

I had to watch them. I don't know who would do this or why they want me.

We were watching zombiland.

"Rule number one don't be a hero." I laughed at that and snuggled into my warm blanket more.

I couldn't shake the bad feeling and it wasn't because of the movie.

My phone vibrated a couple of time before I finally got up and went to the bathroom to check who was calling.

Unknown number my hands shook my neck hairs were standing on edge and my hands were shaking badly.

I couldn't even click the button, but I did.

"H-h-hello? How may I help you?" My mouth was dry and I was covered in cold sweat.

"Is this Miss Rose Loveil?" I nodded my head as if the person could see.

"Y-yes this is she." My words slipping out like molasses.

"I'm sorry to inform you but you mother is in the hospital and your her emergency contact." I dropped against the door sliding down it.

"O-ok I'm on my way." I grabbed my wallet on the way out the door and told my roomies that'd I'd be back and don't let anyone in while I'm on my walk.

I opened the front door and bumped into yet again Anteros's abs of steel.

"I have to get to the hospital quick please take me!" He nodded and dropped my clothes from the club on the shoe rack in the doorway. We rushed to his car as he started the engine I texted my sister.

/mom in hospital come see her for her sake./

I didn't want this to happen was this T's doing did I cause this. This was all my fault.
