Anteros' pov

I felt it Rose's power and I knew if I didn't hurry I'd they'd move her before I could get there.

Medusa fidgeted at the power that emmited.

"She's definitely going to rule the gods." She muttered to herself.

I looked at my rolex, I still had time before Arke gets suspicious.

"We're almost there. Get ready." I state making sure my titan dagger is in my combat boots and gun is in my holster. While another is tucked behind me on safety, for now.

I stop the car hidden behind a close building before getting out.

We all got out and put on our earcoms.

"Everything is clear." Aiden clarified.

I gave the signal for a search as we split up.

"Medusa. Be safe." I state through the mic.

"And Aiden it wasn't your fault it was mine." I said in a genuine tone.

They give an audible contentment and I hear noise shuffle.

"Shut up! Look you can either work the pole and get clients for webcams or spread your damn legs! Either way I want my money Etain why the fuck I'd date an anorexic whore like you anyway." I heard that one asshole, rose's first ex.

There was a loud smack sound and I would of help if I didn't hear Medusa through the com.

"I have a visual she's in the section 3E." Medusa started but was cut off by Aiden.

"I have visual I'm going to take action." He stated.

"Aiden. Don't." I command.

"Medusa back him up if he pursues." I say making my way over while cocking my Ivory pistol with a silencer.

When she came to me in tears I thought of the little girl I met way back in the park so many years ago.

I thought of how I wanted so badly to be what she needed. I kept myself from loving her for her sake. If I hadn't then I could never let her go. But, I was wrong I was a coward afraid to love her and when she found her soulmate she'd leave me.

I realize now that I wasn't strong enough for her or myself.

But that'd I'll change, I'll ask Rose the question I've been meaning to ask for years.

I see Rose and a man pullling her by the hair.
