~ Lucienne POV ~
Nothing could be worse than crowds. Especially when it's hot outside and everyone's practically sweating buckets.
Yeah, just imagine how pissed off I was and multiply it by ten because of the lack of sleep. Why the hell did I have to be nice for once when it goes and stabs me in the back?
Mark, Silver, and I checked the perimeter to make sure everything was clear. The plan was for me and Mark to drive with the royals who would be in the same limousine. Silver would follow us in casual clothing throughout the whole parade to make sure there was nothing fishy going on in the crowd. I was pretty sure he could handle it; the boy has an eagle's eye which allows him to look at everything.
Mark and I raced to the front, but he got a head start which ended up letting me sit in the back with the royals while the asshole got to sit in the front.
"Not fucking again," I hissed and went into the back where all the royals would stand and wave at. Fuck Blake and Mark.
Lucifer simply laughed while Penny looked a little afraid to speak. Everyone else looked confused besides Leon, who I should say looked very emotionless at the moment.
When we were all little, Leon and Penny got along well with each other while I learned how to fight from the kids in the street. We were poor, so who would've imagined that they live life in luxury now. Certainly not Rayne, the one who taught me how to flip someone bigger than me.
"I'm so glad the limo is huge so we can all fit!" Monica cheers happily. It was true; the limo luckily was big enough so all six could wave to the crowd. They would poke their heads out the ceiling which had a window that opened and closed.
Rich bastards.
The parade started a few minutes later and all six were waving happily. When I was younger, I would remember standing on the sidelines, squeezing through the mobs of people. Somehow all four of us, including my siblings and Rayne, would go to the front and would watch the floats pass by.
Why the hell is that damn festival making me think of him? Stupid Rayne.
We went around the whole plaza (which took too damn long) and the parade finally ended. The driver parked the car inside the garage and everyone exited the limo.
"Too damn hot," I hissed, pulling my shirt away from my sweat covered chest. Mark and I had to wear our uniforms and these were one of the days I wish I didn't have the stupid thing.
"I want to go shopping!" Miss. She-Devil said with her high pitched voice.
"Sorry, Princess, we have to wait until Silv gets here. He's just briefing with Mark," I sighed and she grimaced at me.
"Well, go check on them!" She commanded and I growled at her. I walked back to the garage to see how Mark and Silv were doing.
And let's say they were doing fine. Too damn fine, I should say.
Silv had Mark pressed up against the car and they were kissing each other with so much passion and heat that I could feel it from where I was standing, which was about twenty feet away. Mark's hands were tangled in Silv's hair and Silv was running his hand up and down Mark's back.
"I don't want to intrude on your lovey-dovey moment, but we have to go, lovebirds," I deadpanned and Silv jumped away from Mark. It was the first time I've seen Silv so embarrassed; the guy was like a brick wall.
"Holy shit, Lucy!" Mark gasped, "I swear it's not-"
I waved my hand and grinned smugly, "don't even speak. I've been shipping Sark for a long time."
