Saturday

Just waiting for my parents is making me nervous, I know they seemed calm on the phone but they might of changed their minds. Teddi is sitting in the this restaurant with me holding my hand  trying to calm me nerves. I see my parents blond heads coming into view and that just makes me want to run away. Eventually they make their way to our table and sit down.

" Hello ladies." My dad greets us.

" I'm not a lady, I'm a man." She jokes.

" Really I am so sorry." My dad apologizes.

" No I was kidding, I'm a girl we have actually met I'm Teddi."

" Oh well hello Teddi." he chuckles.

" Ray I thought you would of invited Tevan, but I guess not." My mom remarks.

 " Why would I invite Tevan? He doesn't want the baby he told me to get rid of it."

" Oh I bet you just miss understood what he was saying."
" No I understood perfectly."

" Well maybe if you call him you can talk about it." she suggests.

" Talk? I don't want to talk! He is an asshole."

" Extremely." Teddi agrees.

" Ray since your keeping it you will have to talk to him though, when the baby is born your going to need to get his parental rights signed away or either get him for custody." my dad states.

" Oh well that is true, but I don't think i have to talk to him now." 

" True."

" So Teddi what do your parents do?" my mom questions.

" My dad owns the club Ecstasy, that's where I met Ray and TA." She smiles.

" Tony is a good kid when he wants to be, how old are you?" My dad asks.

" 21."

" Oh are you in college."

" No I'm a bartender at my dad's club."

" She wants to go to culinary school." I state.

" Oh culinary school that's interesting, whats stopping you?" My father asks.

" My dad doesn't support me going."

" Why?" he asks curiously.

" My mom was a chef and she died and he just doesn't like the idea of me being a chef."

" I'm sorry to hear that, shall we order our food?" 

one hour later

When I get home I find Tony asleep on my bed.

" Tony wake-up!" I yell.

He turns over and I gasp because its not Tony in my bed its Tevan.

" Tevan what are you doing in my bed?"

" I want to talk to you."

" Well I guess I don't have much of a choice if i want to or not."

" Come on Ray just sit down and talk to me."

" Why? You hurt me the other day."

" Well I'm sorry, how do you think I'm going to react being told I'm going to have a baby.Ray I'm only 17 and I'm not ready to be a dad. Please forgive me I didn't really mean what I said, I don't want you to get rid of it."

" Really?"

" Honest, I want us including the baby to be together." He smiles." Will you marry me."

He gets on one knee and pulls out a black box with a beautiful diamond ring in it.

" You cheated on me."

" Yeah it was a very big mistake I'm sorry." he apologizes.

" I was going to break up with you anyways, so I don't think marriage would be the best idea."

He just stares at me I guess he is kind of shocked.

" We can still be together."
" I don't think so."

" We can." he states.

'Knock'Knock'

" Come in."

My mom comes threw the door and smiles at Tevan.

" Oh you called him." she smiles.

" I didn't."

" Good so everything is better." she says ignoring me. She takes a seat on my  bed next to Tevan." I'm glad now you can focus on the baby and be a happy family."

" We aren't together."

" What?"

" We aren't together mom."

" Why not?"
" Because we aren't."

" You need to be together for the baby."

" No we don't mom, I'm going to do what I need to do. When school starts I'm going to enroll in classes at the community college to be a dentist asstiant."

" A dentist asstiant?" she questions.

" Yeah I want my baby's teeth to be perfect.

" Rayanne when were you planning on telling us this?"

" Dad just said that I had to go to school and Im going to take some business classes to so don't freak."

" We are going to have a family discussion tomorrow morning, Tevan I would like for you to be there." she says before leaving the room.

Everything was just quite. Tevan and I were just stareing at each other.

" You want to watch a movie?" he asks.

I raise my eyebrows at him.

" As friends."

" Sure, as friends." I smile at him.

The next moring

I wakeup in Tevan's arms, I guess we must of fallen asleep watching movies. Teddi was sitting in the chair across from my bed just staring at me. 

" What are you doing?"

" I just got here and I was about to wake u up, so you and Tevan got back together."

" No."

" It looks like it." she frowns.

" We fell asleep watching movies."

" I see, well I guess I better go."

" Come on Teddi we aren't together."

" Okay."

" Don't leave."

" I have to go handle some business."

" Teddi whats wrong?"

" Nothing, Ill see you later."

" Teddi."

" I'm fine, Ill see you tomorrow okay?"

" Yeah." I frown.

She smiles sadly and just leaves. Oh great.

" She likes you, thats why she's sad." Tevan states.

" How do you know?"

" I just do, you need to stay away from her. I know why we were dating you kissed herr so you can call us even."

" You fucked Keli we are not even."
