Chapter 10 The Sleepover Part 1

"Come on- come on... DANG IT!!!"

You collapsed on your back on your bed, your head banging slightly against your backpack.

You had been trying this for hours, but to no avail. You were trying to get back to seeing Dipper's thoughts, but whenever you felt yourself getting close, a flash of yellow pushed you back into the real world.

I don't need to be a mind reader to know that Bill has done something, you thought. Why doesn't he want me to use my power? It ain't any of his business!

Your ears perked at the sound of your cell phone ringing. You flopped onto your stomach, snatching your phone from the recesses of your bag. You saw a voicemail from some number in Gravity Falls.

Well, let's check it out, you think to yourself.

From: (XXX) XXX-XXXX
"Hey, (y/n)! It's Mabel here, and, before you ask, I looked up your number online.-"

"Well that's frightening."

"-(Laughs) Yeah. Anyway, I'm throwing a slumber party tomorrow night, and I wanted you to come. It's at the Mystery Shack, and I'll know if you're coming by the time you get here. You get to meet Waddles if you come!~ Bye!!"

You stare at your phone for a few seconds before putting it in your pocket.

You start to empty out your backpack, putting in your pajamas, two extra outfits, and other miscellaneous items.

What? You are going to the party. How else can you explain yourself?

You check your bag quickly before going onto the front porch. Yup, everything was there, especially your sketchbook.

"Uncle Bud, I'll be back by tomorrow afternoon!!" You yell into the living room.

"Alright." He called back.

Right. Well. Time to get going.

So you go onto the bus.

Third Person POV

Back at the Mystery Shack, this was happening.

Mabel was squealing, as most preteen girls do, and hugging her friends, whom had just walked in the front door.

"Candy! Grenda!!" Mabel cheered.

"Aaaaand, no (y/n)," Dipper said. "Great! Now, if you'll excuse me, I'll be-"

"Dude, I'm here."

Dipper turned to the front door, seeing the (h/c) girl for the first time. He froze, terrified.

However, his sister was not.

"Hey, (n/n)!!" she said. "Meet the girls! This is Candy-"

"Hello," the girl with black hair said.

"-and Grenda!"

"I can use the apps on my phone with my mouth!!"
