Hehe yay! Big long chapter. Enjoy!! <3

As the only other college dropout in the house, Finn frequently found himself looking to Victor as a guide. Growing up without a father, Finn had learned everything he could from his mom, who always did her best. Whenever there were gaps in her knowledge on a particular subject he would fake confidence until he learned. Not having a male role model was a familiar place for him. He was beginning to realize, though, how difficult faking confidence is in the real world when it's constantly scheming to swallow you whole. Victor showed him that the world could throw whatever it has and he could still rise up and pave his own path, making a difference in the world around him.

"Wow," Victor muttered, his hazel eyes tracing the movements on the screen. "This looks incredible, guys."

"Very well done," Jerry muttered, before retreating to his office.

Chase and Finn had finally wrapped up the commercial for the center and pride filled Finn's chest as it played for Victor and Jerry. It was the first time he felt like something he did would make an impact in the world. He had been feeling so directionless lately and ungrounded, and creating something so special made him feel connected to the world in a way he never had.

The commercial showcased before and after shots of the center and a video statement from Victor, speaking on his vision for the space and for the community.

"My name is Victor Santos. My mission is to build a safe space for all to enjoy. If you like games or sports or learning, or simply just need a breather from the outside world, come on down for our grand opening this Saturday at 10am. We'll be giving out free lunch for those who need it. Help us make this community a safe place"

Chase patted Victor on the shoulder. "This was all you, Vic. We just captured all the amazing work you've been doing."

Victor smiled and looked around the room. "We did this."

Sophie cursed as she tripped on the stage for the fifth time and groaned, burying her head in her hands.

"Cut," Dr. Blaire called out. "Everyone take five. Miss Hart, meet me in my office."

Sophie frowned and followed the professor, ignoring the worried looks from Benji and Jess.

"Sit," Dr. Blaire commanded as soon as they entered her office.

"I'm sorry, I know I've been messing up a lot today," Sophie murmured tiredly.

"What's going on, Sophie? You've been distracted the past few days."

Sophie stared down at a chip in the desk before her. "Just tired."

Dr. Blaire's gaze burned into her and at the sound of scribbling Sophie glanced up. "If you say so. But just in case you aren't fine, you might want to give this a try."

Sophie's brows furrowed at the note.

Dr. Laura Presley

Building A, Office 102

"I don't need a therapist, I'm fine."

"Okay," the professor said softly. "But I need your head in the game for opening night this Friday, Sophie."

Sophie nodded and watched numbly as the professor stood and left the room.
