30: he never actually leaves.

I couldn't remember when they started again, nor could i remember why.

Okay, the why is maybe a lie, i know why they started again. Or where i was again.

But for some reason, this time, they were back and worse than before. The darkness got worse and even more terrifying. The eerie silence was deafening.

I couldn't see a thing as a stared down at the darkness, but i could feel where i was. It was a sense of evil that made me feel uneasy and it felt rather familiar. It was also very cold, i shiver in nothing but my pyjamas.

A noise rattles and clicks behind me, when i turn around, no one is there.

The worst part, i have no weapons to protect me with. Nothing but my bare hands to defend myself from whatever is making that creepy sound.

"Hello?" I call out into the darkness.

The cold air brushes against my cheek, like a creepy stranger running their fingers against your skin, but it was nothing but air, trying to lul me into a false sense of safety.

I had this nightmare before.

Not only that, i've been having this nightmare since the winter solstice. Which is three months now.

My mom knows i dream badly but doesn't really know about what, Percy keeps it from her to protect her. But also me, in his own Percy way.

But back to my nightmare.

The hairs on my back stood upright, making no me shiver as i know this place. I had been here before, not physically, but in my dreams.

"You can still change your mind, Sea Princess." The voice calls out, i had gotten accustomed to hearing it again. In my dreams. "Appose the gods, you are destined to be more than just being the gods tool to do their own bidding."

I shake, my muscles refuse to cooperate. Making me cripple and paralysing me to the ground that i stand on.

I don't want to answer, i don't want to indulge in this.

"Nothing to say?" The voice calls out before dark, old and evil laughter rings around me. "Surely you got something. But alas, that doesn't matter, what matters is for you to join me. The gods don't care for you, they just pretend to because they know that you're strong enough to wipe Olympus off the map."

I shake my head. I'm not feeding this any more attention, it didn't work the previous night, it just made him more bold and persistent.

There is also no stopping this force, he will just come back over and over and over again. I get the feeling that he is slightly trying to drive me into insanity.

A shivering sensation runs down my spine, the feeling of someone behind me. I turn around quickly only to face the empty space.

He's toying with me right now. Hands grip my shoulders. "Join me, Daphne." I hear a familiar voice.

I quickly spin around on my heel to face him, to shout at him, to do anything to make him feel how i felt. The make him see that he had hurt me so badly.

But nobody is there. "Show yourself!" I shout as my surroundings begin to appear to me.

This is a first, i think as i look down at the dark underground tunnel with nothing but rock. And to my horror, also monsters lining down the tunnel like an entire army is there to come fight me.

I have nothing on me but my hands, no water near me.

"Join me, Daphne." The voice stutters into that of someone else and i turn around, only to see more monsters behind me.
