Start The Games!

The Fairy Tail guild hall was bustling with energy as they waited for the master to announce the team for the grand magic games.

"Alright everyone, quiet down!" Laki yelled, the guild followed her orders.

"Alright the master is in Crocus right now sighing us up, he left it to me to announce the teams."

"I'm sorry but teams? I thought there would only be one." Laki smirked at Lucy's question.

"There's no rule against having two teams enter the games, both just have to qualify." Laki's demeanor changed and her eyes darkened.

"But also we aren't entering the games just to have fun, this is gonna be dangerous so Master wants as many friends as possible to participate." A few members couldn't help but gulp at her tone.

"Now for team A." Certain people were filled with anxiety as they waited for her words.

"Erza." She smiled confidently.

"Gray." The ice mage didn't react.

"Lisanna." The youngest Strauss looked shocked that her name was called.

"Me?" Lucy patted her on the back. "Great job Lis."

"Lucy." The girl froze when her name was called.

"Amazing lucy." Lisanna said.

"Wendy."

"What me! But I'm not strong enough." She said nervously.

"You're plenty strong Wendy, just believe in yourself." Wendy looked taken aback by her belief in her but nodded determinedly.

"What about the other team?" Lucy asked.

"The other team is. Laxus." He gave a nod in recognition.

"Mira."

"Oh my, I better not disappoint."

"Gajeel." The dragon slayer chuckled in excitement.

"Cana."

"Woo toast to me!" She celebrated by drinking another barrel of booze.

"And lastly, Juvia."

"Juvia is ready."

"Now remember, this isn't all about the games but that doesn't give you the right to lose and sully Fairy Tails name. We'll win on all fronts, at the games and by stopping whatever plot is going on behind the scenes! You got it!"

"Yeah!"

The city of crocus was bustling with energy as guilds from all over Fiore arrived for the Grand Magic Games. And with the news that Fairy Tail was participating even more eyes were on the games this year.

The current Master was in the city and eating lunch surrounded by beautiful company.

"So are you participating in the games this year Jenny?" Natsu asked Miss Fiore. The woman leaned into his side as he ate.

"Of course, I won't miss the chance to take on Mira." Jenny said, her voice haughty. Bisa chuckled from the other side.

"You still haven't let that rivalry go huh." She said as she fed Igneel some food. The baby took it greedily.

"It'll be fun to see them fight." Natsu said as he finished his food.

"Don't be angry when I win." Jenny said as she pressed further into his side.

"Win or lose you're still mine." Natsu said, making Jenny blush. "Yes I am, you greedy dragon." Jenny said, leaning in to kiss him.

"No fair Natsu-nya, I want love too."
