- halos lahat na puntahan na natin. lahat ng sinabi mong place na pwede nyang puntahan, pero hindi pa rin natin sya makita. may ibang place pa ba na possible na puntahan nya?

tanong ni Bea while driving. and she's right, halos lahat na puntahan na namin still no sign of Riz. na saan na ba kasi yung babaeng yun?

until now she's not picking up her phone. humanda talaga yun pag nagkita kami.

- hello!? may kasama pa ba ako dito?

Bea snapped me out of my reverie.

- i'm sorry? aah.. sa.. dagat. pag gusto nyang mag isip doon po sya nag pupunta. yeah maybe she's there.

- you mean we're going to Batangas? shoot! okay doon tayo.

- no Bei, sa Manila Bay tayo. hindi yun pupunta ng Batangas.

nilingon nya ako then binalik din nya agad yung eyes sa road.

- you sure?

i nodded.

- okay. let's go there.

then she continue driving.

actually i'm not really a 100% sure na nandun sya pero yun lang kasi yung na iisip ko na pwede nyang puntahan since it's a bay. body of water parin naman yun. and the sound of splash from the water makes her ease. i know kasi best friend ko sya for as long as i remember.

after a while nakarating na kami. Bea parked her car. then we both unload in it.

- so where to start?

i shrugged.

- maybe let's go there.

she said. i nodded and followed her.

- Bea!

tawag ko then she turns her back to me.

- what? did you see her na? where?

tanong nya while turning her head around.

- no. not yet. aahm let's go that way. i think let's start searching there.

- we can start--

hindi ko na sya pinatapos mag salita, hinila ko na sya. so wala na syang nagawa kung hindi ang sumunod na rin sa akin.

Maddie..

- here's your ice cream you're craving for.

tapos inabot ko yung binigay ni Riz na ice cream.

yes mag kasama kami ngayon ni Riz dito sa Manila Bay. when she finally answered my call sinabi nga nya na she's here. so the moment i knew, i hurry myself to get here without telling the whole team.

- hey! are still with me?

Riz snapped me out of my reverie. i smile back to her then eat my ice cream.

- i'm right na ikaw yung sinabihan ko kung na saan ako. you're not forcing me kasi to speak and say anything.

- i'm here kasi i know you need a companion. i'm here coz i'm your second best friend, remember?

then she laugh. she licked on her ice cream while looking at the sea.

- Riz, i just want you to know that i'm here to listen. if you're ready you can tell me if that helps you to lighten up the load.

she took a deep breath.

- honestly i really don't know what's ate Mich real reason on quitting the team. she just said that this isn't the right time to tell us.
