Chapter 29: Pain in me

Maddie..

i wake up when i heard a noise coming outside. i looked at my watch and find out that it's 5:00 am already. tulog pa si Therese, Jaime and Gizelle.

i get up and fix myself. maaga pa naman so pwede akong mag lakad lakad sa shore.

medyo okay na ako. after nang bonfire kagabi mas naging open kami sa isa't isa. but still, maliban kina Mich and Riz wala pa rin ibang nakaka alam about my problem. i'm still not ready to tell that to them. maybe in time. or maybe hindi na lang din.

like i said okay na ako. and speaking of okay, yung gap between me and Vyel na ayos na. i feel so relieve. pinag selosan pala nya yung pagiging close ko kay Riz. mas lalo na siguro kung nalaman pa nya yung feelings ko for her best friend. buti talaga she open up first.

nakarating ako ng shore nang makita ko si Riz na papunta sa maliit na house. i saw her entered.

" ano kayang meron dun? "

i wishpered. so out of curiousity i followed her there.

hindi naka sara yung door so pumasok ako.

- Riz!

tawag ko. then she faces me.

nakita ko yung gulat sa mukha nya.

- what the hell you're doing here!? how did you get in!?

- hey, chill lang dude. nakita kita so sinundan kita. then opened yung door so pumasok ako. what is this place?

sabi ko while walking around sa loob.

- let me guest. hide out nyo ni Vyel? puro photos nyo together eh.

- let's go outside.

- teka lang, ano bang problema? may tinatago ka ba sa lugar na ito maliban sa mga photos nyo together?

- wala! tara na sa labas.

then she pushes me out. tapos she locked the door.

- wait Riz! okay sorry if sobrang kulit ko. like i've said nakita kitang pumasok eh. so out of curiousity i followed you. wag ka ng magalit.

- i'm not. wag mo na lang makwento kahit kanino yung nakita mo. no one gets in, in that house except me.

- even Vyel?

- no one. even her.

- why!?

she didn't answered instead she walked away from me.

alam ko naman yung sagot but i want to hear directly from her though it will hurt me.

- Riz! bakit nga? alam mo ang daya mo. ako nagsabi ako ng secret sayo tapos ikaw ayaw magsabi. promise your secret is safe with me.

she looked at me. tapos umupo sya sa buhanginan. niyakap nya yung mga tuhod nya at pinatong yung chin sa ibabaw nun.

- hindi sa ayaw ko. hindi ko lang alam how to tell you. i trust you naman as much as you trusted me. pero siguro hindi ako kasing tapang gaya mo na aminin sa lahat ang nararamdaman ko.

- nararamdaman? wait lang. don't tell me---

hindi ko tinapos yung sasabihin ko. but i think na intindihan naman nya kasi she nodded.

- si Vyel? kailan pa? and how did that happened?

maang kong tanong. but deep inside i felt pain.

- i really don't know when. basta one day bigla na lang nag iba my feelings for her. everytime i'd stared at her, i smiled. tapos wala na akong ibang nakikita kung di sya na lang. how did that happened? may exact answer ba dun? kung meron well hindi ko alam how. basta naramdaman ko na lang.
