The Next Morning –
As the first rays of sunlight streamed through the curtains, Aastha stirred in Ishaan’s arms. The warmth of his embrace still lingered as she slowly opened her eyes, realizing how much had changed between them in just a few days. Last night wasn’t just about romance; it was about trust, understanding, and the unspoken bond they had always shared.
Ishaan, already awake, looked down at her, his eyes filled with something deeper than just affection. He brushed a strand of hair from her face and whispered, "Morning, sleepyhead."
Aastha smiled, stretching slightly before snuggling back against him. "Morning."
For a few moments, they stayed like that—wrapped in each other’s warmth—until Ishaan finally broke the silence. "Aastha, I’ve been thinking…"
She looked up at him, curiosity flickering in her gaze. "About?"
He took a deep breath, his fingers tightening slightly around hers. "About us. About our future. I don’t want this to be just something temporary. I want to make it real. I want to marry you. Properly. As my wife in every way."
Aastha blinked, her heart skipping a beat. "Ishaan… are you serious?"
He chuckled softly. "Dead serious. I don't want to spend a single day without you anymore."
Her cheeks flushed as she processed his words. The thought of officially becoming his wife made her heart race. "Are u seriously proposing me"
A genuine, boyish grin spread across Ishaan’s face. He cupped her face and pressed a firm kiss on her forehead. Yeah, my future wife ! "We need to tell my parents. I want them to be part of this… and I want our wedding to be grand, something unforgettable."
Aastha nodded. "Of course. But… do you think they’ll accept me?"
Ishaan held her gaze, his expression turning serious. "They will. They have to. And if they don’t…" He exhaled. "Then I’ll fight for us."
Her heart swelled with emotion. He wasn’t just saying this he meant it.
"Then let’s go to Delhi," she said softly.

Arriving in Delhi –
As they landed in delhi, she remembers her parents.... But just a normal glimpse!
A few hours later, they landed in Delhi. As the car sped toward Ishaan’s family home, Aastha’s nerves kicked in. Ishaan sensed her unease and squeezed her hand. "Relax. It’s just my parents… and Shikha. And you already know how much she adores you."
Aastha sighed. "Yeah, but still… it's-
Wait, shikha... She also lied me.. !
Damn
Leave, aastha it's okay !! Ishaan said to her.
When they reached his home, Shikha was already at the door, waiting with a knowing smile. As soon as Aastha stepped out of the car, Shikha rushed over, pulling her into a tight hug.
"I KNEW IT! I KNEW IT! I told you, Ishaan! One day, you two would end up together!"
Aastha laughed, hugging her back. "You knew before us, huh?"
Shikha smirked. "Of course! I’m not blind."
Ishaan rolled his eyes. "Okay, enough with the gloating, Shikha. Where are Mom and Dad?"
Shikha’s teasing expression softened. "Inside. But, Ishaan… be prepared. They might not take this as smoothly as you hope."
Ishaan nodded, his grip on Aastha’s hand tightening. "Let’s do this."

The Conversation –
As they stepped inside, his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Chouhan, were sitting in the living room. They looked up, surprised to see Ishaan and Aastha together.
His mother, Mrs. Chouhan, spoke first. "Ishaan? You didn’t tell us you were coming."
His father, ever serious, nodded. "And with company, I see."
Ishaan took a deep breath. "Mom, Dad, I need to talk to you both about something important."
His mother’s eyes flickered to Aastha, and she smiled warmly. "Of course, beta. Sit down."
Ishaan and Aastha sat opposite them. Aastha felt her palms sweat, but Ishaan’s reassuring presence beside her kept her steady.
"Mom, Dad," Ishaan began, "there’s something I need to tell you. Something that might surprise you… but I hope you’ll understand."
His father’s brow furrowed. "Go on."
Ishaan exhaled. "Aastha and I… we want to get married. For real. And I want your blessing."
A heavy silence settled in the room. His mother looked between them, processing the information, while his father’s expression remained unreadable.
Mrs. Chouhan was the first to break the silence. "This is sudden, Ishaan."
"I know," he admitted. "But it doesn’t change the fact that I love her. I want to be with her for the rest of my life."
Aastha swallowed hard, gathering her courage. "I know this is unexpected, Uncle, Aunty. But… I love Ishaan. More than anything. And I promise to always support him, to always stand by his side."
Mr. Chouhan finally spoke, his voice deep and firm. "Marriage isn’t a decision you make overnight, Ishaan. Are you sure about this?"
Ishaan met his father’s gaze head-on. "More than I’ve been sure about anything in my life."
His father leaned back, sighing. "You’re a doctor. You have a bright future. And this girl… does she fit into that future?"
Ishaan’s jaw clenched. "She is my future, Dad."
Aastha bit her lip, feeling the weight of the moment. She suddenly spoke up. "I may not have a big name, or a prestigious career, but I know one thing, I will never leave Ishaan’s side. Ever."
Shikha, who had been quietly watching, finally spoke. "Mom, Dad… if you could see them together, you’d understand. Ishaan has never been this happy. And isn’t that what matters?"
Mrs. Chouhan’s expression softened. She reached forward, taking Aastha’s hand. "Aastha, we’re not against you… we just need to be sure that Ishaan is making the right choice."
Aastha nodded. "I understand, Aunty. And I’ll prove to you that I am the right choice."
Mr. Chouhan studied Aastha for a long moment before finally sighing. "If this is what you both truly want… then we won’t stand in your way."
Aastha’s heart leaped. Ishaan’s grip on her hand tightened as relief washed over them.
His mother smiled. "But if we’re doing this, we’re doing it properly. A grand wedding. No shortcuts."
Ishaan grinned. "That’s exactly what I wanted, mom... Love you so much."
Shikha clapped her hands. "Well, looks like we have a wedding to plan!"
Aastha turned to Ishaan, her heart full. He met her gaze with a soft smile.
"We’re really doing this," he murmured.
Aastha smiled back. "Yes. We are."
And with that, their journey toward forever truly began.
