Warning!: mentions of blood. There will always be blood and 'graphic' wound descriptions in my story, so I don't make a habit of adding specific warnings (sometimes it can just spoil the entire chapter), there's already a general warning at the very start of the story, but this chapter and a little of the next in specific tackles some additional TMI, adult themes (not all involving blood) and it may be weird for some. However, it is all based on historical facts and its importance. If you've watched shows like ASOIAF, Outlander, you must be accustomed to some quite strong stuff, so this will be nothing. I think I might even be blowing it out of proportion with this lol but I'm scared of ppl judging or feeling uncomfy. This story has a mix of approaches (fluff and romance/gritty and realistic), it is not going to be all roses and rainbows—remember I put emphasis on historical context and use it to add authenticity to my plot, which is something that realistically would have not taken place in this context—so remember what the Middle Ages were like, and always keep this in mind when reading HCW.
I swear all of it is pertinent somehow. About some of them, it may not be clear now/yet? Idk

[Heaven Can't Wait — Second part of the story out of ?]

What awaits this strange, unprecedented marriage now? Only time that is already running out will tell. Internal opinions will determine the chances given to it. External forces may disrupt the pace to which these are administered.

"Ah, look at them," Guillaume expressed, keeping his voice down while holding the canopies open enough for them both to take a peek into the bed.

He and Raymond found the newlyweds asleep, facing each other, quite close, but as if still having the capability of maintaining a semblance of caution even in slumber.

Baudouin's posture lied in a straight line, but relaxed. One of Lluna's legs was stretched forward, her toes grazing the tip of Baudouin's clothed foot, her hands folded under one of the many pillows.

Raymond joined the Archbishop, but held himself back at a distance, only allowing himself a flashing view.

"I did not expect to find them still in the same room together."

Guillaume, however, lingered for a while, still whispering through his pursed smile.

"Do they not look endearing?"

The cooing of doves outside, probably on the very ledges of the colorful windows next to them, seemed to be serenading a constant lullaby that kept them asleep. And similarly, the wind chimes outside, causing no disturbance at all regardless of the changing weather and growing breezes.

"Nothing much seems to have taken place... Do you think they...?" The chancellor added.

"Unlikely." Raymond spoke as he took some steps back in an attempt to beckon the priest away from the resting couple.

At last, Guillaume stepped back too to join Raymond. "It is no matter. But let us not bring it up outside of this chamber. As far as anyone else is concerned, this marriage was consummated."
