BIRTHDAY SPECIAL

Beomgyu stirred awake as the sun shone brightly on his face. He rubbed his eyes then looked around. he found no one in the room, and that made him curious. He stood up from the bed and walked towards the bathroom, but as he walked past on the calendar, he suddenly realized something. It's his Birthday.

A small smile appeared on his face as he remembered the date today. It was March 13. It's been a while and his age kept increasing as years passed. He went inside the bathroom to do his morning routine.

After a while, he left the bathroom and changed his clothes, heading down stairs to check what they were doing but he found them sitting on the couch while sipping some coffee, watching the news. He just looked at them curiously then headed towards the kitchen, there he found Yeonjun sitting while drinking his morning coffee.

He walked towards him, approaching him silently. He wrapped his arms around him then rested his chin on his shoulder. "Good morning, you're up so early" He smiled while looking at his work.

Yeonjun nodded, then caressed Beomgyu's face while still focusing on his work. "Yeah, my boss gave me lots of work to do today," He replied.

Beomgyu just nodded, he understood that Yeonjun's work was no joke so he pulled away then kissed his cheek. "Okay, work well"

With that, he walked back to the living room then sat down on the sofa. Glancing around, he noticed that his twin sister was not there, where did she go? His eyes drifted to Soobin who was focused on his laptop.

"Where's Beom Young?" He asked.

Soobin glanced at him then shrugged. "I don't know"

After he replied he suddenly felt that something was wrong. He remained calm and played games on his phone. But the thought of his friend forgetting his.. No.. their birthday slightly hurt him. But the pain doesn't really hurt him deeply, he's used to celebrating his birthday alone.

After some time, Soobin glanced at his phone then suddenly spoke. "Hey, isn't it Beom Young's birthday today?"

They all glanced at their phone then nodded, a smile appeared on their lips. "Fuck, yeah. It's her birthday" Kai replied then immediately stood up.

Beomgyu smiled as they realized what date today is. He was about to say something when they all stood up and went to the kitchen to prepare for her birthday. The smile slightly disappeared on his face, he just watch them as they walked towards the kitchen to prepare for her birthday.

Is it happening again?.. Am I being forgotten?..

He just watched his friends as they disappeared through the kitchen. He took a deep breath then let out a sigh before heading towards his room to rest. The pain of being forgotten was once again corrupting his thoughts.. Clouding it with his dark and hurtful past.

He just shook his head as he lay down on his bed then closed his eyes. After a few minutes of silence, the door to his room suddenly opened revealing Yeonjun.

"Hey, It's your sister's birthday today, won't you come and join us preparing for the surprise?" He asked as he approached him on the bed.

Beomgyu opened his eyes then glanced at him. The thought of his own boyfriend forgetting his birthday suddenly hurts him, It felt like he was being betrayed.

Beomgyu just nodded his head then smiled bitterly. "Sure, Sure" He replied, trying to his the bitterness he felt.

Yeonjun just nodded then smiled at him. He then pulled him up. "Let's go to the kitchen to prepare food"

As they arrived there, he immediately began baking to clear his thoughts.

It's been hours since they began preparing, everything is fully set now and fully arranged in order. Beomgyu was just watching them from the living room.

As soon as he heard the car arriving, he immediately glanced at his friends then approached them.

"Hey, They're here" He said, glancing at the door.

They all began to prepare themselves and took the homemade cake that Beomgyu made. It's a sleeping bear cake.He made it for his twin sister. As soon as the footsteps began approaching and the door opens, they unite by saying the word.

"Happy Birthday, Gyu and Youngie!" The confetti popped and they all clapped their hands then sang them a Happy Birthday song.

Beomgyu and Beom Young were shocked at the same time by the unexpected greetings.

"Wait, wait. You said a surprise for Beomgyu's birthday" She confirmed, curiously.

"Well.." I.N walked towards Hyunjin then wrapped his arms around his shoulder "WE had different plans sorry, we plan it for both of you" He replied.

Felix slightly pushed I.N away. "Back off"

I.N chuckled. "Chill" He then walked away heading towards Beom Young.

Beomgyu suddenly feel a pair of arms wrapping around his waist, he glanced to know who it is.

"Are you surprised?"Yeonjun asked as he let out a soft chuckle.

"Should I be?" Beomgyu replied, a mixture of sarcasm was visible through his voice.

They all laughed at the same time.

"Let's just eat, or else the food we made will be cold" Beomgyu unwrapped Yeonjun's arm around him then walked towards the kitchen.

They all watched him as he began preparing to eat.

"Damn, is he mad at us?" Kai asked.

Taehyun shrugged. "I don't think so, let's just eat"

Yeonjun just chuckled softly then approached Beomgyu, he wrapped his arms around him once again then cuddled him.

"Happy Birthday, My Love"
