As Sam walked through the door to the bunker he heard a sobbing voice talking to itself "n-no Sam won't stay.. there's no reason to. I'm Lucifer for fathers sake! even if he says he loves me I know.. no Gabriel you don't understand! I know that I was reinstated but that does not mean that what I did is forgiven... um.. hell I think Sam Is home-"
Sam knocked on the living room wall "Luc? who were you talking to?"

"oh no one just an open prayer to Gabriel. nothing to worry about!" Lucifer chirped, rising and walking over to peck Sam on the cheek "did the hunt go well?"
He nodded, wrapping an arm around the blonde's shoulders and steered them to the couch "what's up?"
"nothing just glad you're here." Lucifer murmured as they sat down

"don't lie I heard you talking to Gabriel."
The archangel froze before laughing "oh no! I was just whining don't worry about me! I'm sorry if I worried you"
Sam shook his head "no don't start that okay? You need to start talking. tell me what's wrong!"
"I'm fine okay? just let me hold you for a little bit"
he shook his head but moved so Lucifer was wrapped around him ams he was stroking the blonde's hair "Lucifer I heard you and I know that's how you feel. don't deny it. You ARE amazing. You were reinstated and you are so sweet, kind,and I love you so much but that's not all. you should know that even if I didn't you are still amazing and sweet and fuck, I don't know but please PLEASE you've changed and you're forgiven by all okay?"
Lucifer smiled into Sam's chest "I love you so much Sam"
"I need an answer"
"i-ok I believe you but -"

"alright. I'm gonna be quiet now"
"good. Dean'll be home soon but we don't have to move, he can deal."

Sam kissed the top of Lucifer's head "I hope one day you'll see yourself as I see you"
