Chapter 8: You Should Stop Using That Potion On Me

-Previously on Running for 1300 Years-

"No! No! Leo! Leo! Stay with us! Don't take a nap! We'll get you healed and everything's going to be alright! Ok?" Susan said worried.

"WHAT HAPPENED TO THE MOON!?" Someone scream pointing. We both looked up and saw that the moon wasn't its original colour. It was now red as blood. What's going on! We stopped at the end of the bridge and looked back. The gate was shut. More then half the army was in there.

"Peter! The bridge!" Caspian yelled. Peter and his horse jumped over the closing bridge and made it out alive but I slowly closed my eyes and rested my head on Susan's back. I don't think I'll see tomorrow morning...

-And now on Running for 1300 Years-

Edmund's POV

It was now early in the morning but it looked all gloomy. We lost almost all our men in battle. I saw Caspian, Peter and Susan alright but Trumpkin was hurt in battle. I haven't seen Leo anywhere. I'm very scared and worried if Leo is ok or not. When we arrive at the entrance of Alsan's How, Lucy ran out.

"What happened?" Lucy ask

"Ask him" Peter said angry

"Peter" Susan said

"Me?" Caspian questioned

"You could've called it off there was still time" Caspian said to him. I have a feeling those two are going to fight.

"No, there wasn't, thanks to you. If you kept to the plan those soldiers might be alive" Peter said back

"If you'd just stayed here like I suggested, they definitely would be!" Caspian said raising him voice.

"You called us, remember?" Peter reminded him

"My first mistake" Caspian said disgusted

"No. Your first mistake was thinking you could lead these people" Peter said walking off

"HEY!" Caspian screamed grabbing Peter's attention again.

"I am not the one who abandoned Narnia" He reminded him

"You invaded Narnia. You have no more right to lead it then Miraz does!" Peter said raising his voice. Caspian stormed off.

"You, him, your father!" Peter continued. The Caspian stopped.

"Narnia's better off without the lot of you!" Peter recommended. Then Caspian and Peter pulled there swords out in anger.

"STOP IT!" I screamed getting them to knock it off. The leader of the centaurs had Trumpkin in his hands. He lowered him down and I helped. Lucy ran over with her healing cordial. Susan, Lucy and I kneeled down. Lucy gave him one drop and he started breathing again.

"What are you all standing around for? Telmarines will be here soon enough" Trumpkin said looking around. We all got up.

"Thank you... my dear little friend" Trumpkin said. We all walked off

"Edmund, Your Majesty" A faun said stop us in our tracks.

"I have a very bad feeling that you won't like this. It's about Leona" He said. He then moved out of the way and another faun behind but the faun was holding a body. The body looked very familiar. It was Leo but she wasn't breathing.

"LEO!" I screamed scared. I ran over to the faun taking Leo out of his hands. Peter, Susan and Lucy ran over. I kneeled down with Leo still in my arms. I'm praying to god that she will still be alive. I take hold of one of her hands.

"Leo, Leo, Leo! Please don't leave me" I said hoping. Lucy gives her a drop but at first nothing happened. I started to get more scared. Lucy and Susan smiled. I look at them confused then I see her tail hold my hand and her eyes open slowly. That was perfect timing because the light became brighter.

"Lucy, you should stop using that potion on me" Leo said with a smile. I just gave her a hug of relief.

"I didn't want to loose" I said relieved. I let go of her even though I didn't want to.

"Can you walk?" I ask. She looks at her legs but shakes her head as a no.

"I think I'm too weak" she said surprised.

"Don't worry, I can take care of that" I said then picked her up ( That's what the picture for). She didn't mind. I carried her to her room that she shares with my sisters. I carried her into her bed.

"I'm so glad your alive" I said relieved

"I know you are. I was scared that you didn't make it" She said relieved as well.

"If you were dead, I wouldn't be able to do this" I said them kissed her. She kissed me back with no surprise.

"Caught you" Lucy said from the entrance of the girls bedroom. I stop and look over. She was standing there with my other sister. I stand out and awkwardly walk out of the room. Rude, I was busy.
