Chapter 13: We Meet Again

-Previously on Running for 1300 Years-

"You might need to call me again?" Lucy asked like it was a joke.

"Smooth move Susan" I said in the same tone.

"Oh shut up"

-And now on Running for 1300 Years-

Leo's POV

We finally got out of the how by the underground way. I was in front since I was leading the way.

"Just stay on the track, it's our best way around!" I yelled as we rode. We pasted so many trees and they don't even move, the trees I mean. I wish after this war they would start moving again.

"Ride!" A telmarine voice screamed. I looked over and saw some telmarine soldiers on horses with crossed bow and arrows.

"They've seen us!" Lucy told us.

"Faster!" I yelled. Our horse then went faster but so did the Telmarines. Then Susan stoped.

"What are you do my Liege?" I asked confused. Susan got off her horse.

"Take the reins" Susan said giving them to her sister.

"What are you doing?" Lucy asked repeating the question.

"I'm sorry Lucy but it look as if you'll be going with only Leo" Then she slapped the rear end of the horse. Lucy went away following me. Susan was standing there all alone. She stopped to look at her sister and I did too. We rode away down the path. We continued to rode until a telmarine arrow almost shot me in the head. I took a closer look and it had the letters.

"C.L" I asked myself. Courtney Lynch!

"Courtney!" I realised. How did she follow me! I off my horse and let Marble loose.

"Now you?!" She asked in the same tone as before.

"This soldier is special. Looks like your actually going by yourself" I said. I put a spell in her to make her protected.

"I put a spell on you to help you defend on anything that try's to attack you" I said.

"Thanks" She said before I slapped the back of the horse. I walked forward and turned one of my daggers into a sword. She stopped half way to look at me. Then a arrow missed her in the face.

"GO!" I yelled and she rode away. I could feel her presence near. Then another arrow came across over my head again. It had the C.L letters on it again.

"She's near" I warned myself. Then I heard footsteps. A sword missed me on the side of my face and I could tell that it was Courtney.

"Leona Aslan, We meet again" She said with her sword out. She put her sword down and leaned on it like a walking cane.

"Courtney Lynch, any chance why your here?" I asked.

"To finish where we left off at the bridge" She said then tried to attack me but I defended.

"Nice try. Your gonna have to do better" I said.

"I've heard that you have a special relationship with a king, Edmund must be his name. I've seen what he looks like, he's really cute. I wonder if when your dead I'll have a chance with him" She said like it was a plan. Her talking about Edmund like that really started making me jealous. I don't know why but it is.

"Sorry sweetie! He prefers Narnians, not telmarine" I said then pushed her away. I attacked her but defended, our sword kling and klang. It continues for a while until a red arrow missed Courtney's head. She looked behind her then ran away on her horse. I looked at where Courtney looked. It was Caspian with my horse and Susan behind him on the same horse.

"Even without a horn you know how to get us to help you" Susan said. Caspian gave me my horse and we rode back to the entrance of Aslan's How. Peter was in battle with Miraz, he saw us coming. He his walking was off abit. He needed a little help. Edmund say me and ran towards me and hugged me.

"Your alright" He said surprised

"I have you a promise"

"Lucy?" Peter asked a little scared.

"She got through, with a little help" Susan said looking a Caspian and me.

"I put a spell on Lucy so that anything try's to attack her, she will miss" I informed.

"Thanks" Peter said looking at us.

"Well, you were busy" Caspian said.

"You better get up there, just in case. I don't expect the Telmarines will keep their word" Peter told his sister.

"Leo, what about you?" Peter asked me.

"My throwing skills are way more advance then you think. I can use my daggers as my arrows and my arm as my bow" I explained.

"Good call" Caspian said. I nodded. Susan and I gave her brother a hug before going. He gave a little yell of pain.

"Sorry"

"it's all right"

"Be careful" Susan said.

"Good luck" I said.

"Keep smiling" Edmund said looking at the army. Susan ran off, I had to give Edmund a hug before following Susan.

"Be safe out there" I told him.

"You too" He told me. I ran after Susan onto the rocks were the other archers are. I stood next to Susan. We all cheered when Peter went back into duel. They kept on fight but it then became shield and fist. Miraz fell onto the ground showing mercy. Miraz tricked him by grabbing his sword and attacking Peter by surprise but Peter dodged and took the sword off him, stabbing him in near the heart. Miraz fell onto the ground again but still alive. Peter then pointed hi sword at Caspian, does he want Caspian to finish Miraz's life? Caspian takes the offer and Peter walking back.

"God, this waiting is killing me" I told her.

"Just wait until your in battle" Trumpkin responded.

Caspian lifts up his sword slowly facing it to Miraz's heart. He screamed but doesn't kill Miraz, he just stabs the sword into the ground. The Narnians cheer again like we won the battle already but I have a feeling we haven't yet.
