The day of the trial has finally arrived. I am absolutely terrified of what will happen. Daryl's mum and some of his friends have turned up as witnesses and what have you. The only people on my side are me, Chris, I would like to say Marco but they don't allow dogs into court, and a lawyer who to be honest I didn't know about.
"Quite in the court room, thank you!" Shouts a male judge. He looks over to us. "I would like to hear the victims story first, Miss drake please make your way forwards." I swallow nervously then walk to the front of the court room. I begin to tell my story with the judge every so asking questions.

"So before this attack, has the accused attacked you before?" The judge asks. "Not really, he has sexually harassed me before though. And he has also violently attacked me, they have also chased me before a few times." The judge looks up from his notes. "Who are 'they'?" The judge asks rising an eyebrow. "Dar- I mean the accused's gang."
"Ok thank you Miss Drake, you may be seated." I nod my thanks, and head over to my seat next to Chris. "I would like to hear the accused's story. Mister Robinson make his way to the front." Daryl gets up and walks to the front confidently. "Where were you on May the 15th?" The judge asks. "I was out with my friends, like we went into town and stuff like that. Oh and I had been staying at my friends for a few nights." Daryl says with a cocky smile.

The trial dragged on for another two hours. Daryl denied everything to do with, my attack. Chris had been up saying how he hadn't been there and came back when he heard Daryl and his gang running up the road saying something, like "Why didn't you smash her phone?" And stuff like that. Daryl's mother had been up and said how Daryl had ran away to stay with his friends after an argument. Daryl's friends also backed him up saying how he had been in town.
"I have a few ideas but, I say we use a lie detector." The judge decides. My eyes brighten in the hope that this trial may finally be over and we finally get our justice. I look to see Daryl's eyes staring directly in front of him. 'He knows he's dead meat know!' I think. "Miss Drake if you could follow that member of staff out you shall be the first to be tested." The judge says.
I smile knowing I will pass all the questions!

"Did Daryl Robinson attack you on the 15th of May?" Asks the staff member. "Yes." I say looking at the weird box thing. Wires were attached to my head and chest measuring my heart beat, and I guess my brain waves or something.

I was asked more questions the allowed to go. They asked Chris, Daryl and some of his friends. I sat anxiously next to Chris until a man walked over to the judge carrying a price of paper. The judge scanned it with his eagle like eyes before speaking. Everyone sat in silence. "Liberty Drake, you passed on all your questions." The judge starts. "As for you Daryl Robinson, I have found you guilty and sentence you to 40 years in jail. You shall also be put onto the sex offenders list."
The look on Daryl's face when he was told how long he was going to jail for was incredible. I am so happy! Finally justice has been served! The judge starts to speak again. "Just be happy that I didn't give you a life sentence." The judge slightly smirks before going start faced again.
Just as me and Chris leave to be taken back to the hostel the female officer, that I talked to the first time I told people about what had happened, ran up to me and begins talking to me. " Just before you leave, I need you to come in tomorrow." I nod just I can leave. I don't know why she wants me to come back, but I will find out.
