In the end I allowed Chris to come with me. We had decided to walk back due to my knee, well, and my bashed in bike. I'll just persuade Peter to fix it; that's the only good thing about him.
We arrived at the large gate to the drive way down to my house after a long walk home. "So how are you getting home?" I questioned Chris. He shrugged his shoulders. "Well I think I can manage from here." I said. Chris leaned in to kiss me. "You get gettin' some?" I heard Peter shout. I rolled my eyes, trying to seem cool with Chris. He nodded his farewell.
"What the hell are you doing!?" I whisper up to Peter, who was leaning out his window. "You'll alert dad I'm here!" Peter clicked his tongue. "Why should I care he's most likely to throw you out anyway, for what you did to his hand!"
Slowly I snuck round the back of the house to a drain pipe near my window I climbed quite often. I hauled my body up the drain to reach the ledge outside my window. I scrambled on to it and peered into the window. Movement caught my eye, it was only Mother tidying around. I opened the window. She knew I had been through here before many times. As the window creaked open she jumped.
"Where did you go this time?" Mother sighed. "Just the park." I replied taking off a jacket I had been wearing, lying it on my bed. "I don't think you should go so far." I sighed. "Well I don't think you should be married to father, but you still are." Mother turned to look at me. "Look if I could leave your father I would, but now he will probably just kill me, you and Bradley. That's why I stay with him, to keep you all safe." I rolled my eyes.
"Where is she!" I heard the angry call from downstairs. "Damn." I ran to my cupboard and clambered on top of it. Mother carried on tidying, to seem as if nothing had happened. The slam of the door, that must of left a crack in the wall signaled fathers arrival. "Where is she I asked Women!"
Mother turned with fear in her eyes. "Paul you know I hate it when you call me Women, please stop." Fathers face was ugly with rage. "Shut up cow, now where is she?!" Father growled. "Paul dear I have no idea, she's always running off like this!" Fathers eyes flicked to my bed. "Whys her, blooming jacket there then?" He smirked.
Alarm flashed on Mothers face. "Maybe she left it before she ran away?" Father wasn't buying it. He looked to where I was sat. "Libby! Dear, why don't you come down?" At this point I noticed the large bandage around his hand; his hand was clutching something I could not see. "Father, dear you know I prefer it up here, the views great!" I snarled.
Anger showed on his face. He marched to the cupboard. Butterflies rose in my stomach, what was he going to do?! Father jumped and grabbed my ankle pulling me off, way easier than last time. I fell and hit my head off the floor. instantly I was knocked out.
