"What does she want?" Peter sighs. "I don't know she said I would want to see it." I snap. I invited Chris and Peter to come with me, probably since I had no way there, to be honest none of us had a way there, so Peter got money for a taxi. "Red wick drive please." I say to the driver, he nods his head in reply and sets off.
"Why did you invite us?" Chris asks. "Well Peter's my brother and you're here for," Chris raises an eye brow as I fail to give him a answer . "Moral support." I say slowly and kind of unsurely.
"So what's you're business at red wick?" The taxi driver asks. "Umm just visiting family." I say. "Ha so you need your brother and friend for 'moral support' I get you lass!" The driver chuckles. I laugh lightly trying to at least look happy.
"Thank you." Peter says handing over the money. The drive was empty apart from the leaves that darted back and fourth. Police cars were parked down the street outside the gate. The gate was locked so we all have to climb over. First goes Chris, then as I climb my hoodie gets caught and rips. I quietly curse under my breath as Peter climbs over.
Slowly we all walk towards the house. As we head around the corner to the door I spot Julia stood outside the door. It had been bust open by the police. I could see broken bottles and a smashed vase. Julia looks at me with sadness clearly showing in her eyes. "Where's our mother, where's Bradley?" Peter asks quickly. "We don't know." Julia says quietly.
I walk into the house leaving Chris and Peter arguing with Julia. Glass breaks under my feet. Objects had been thrown about across the hallway. I pass by the dining room. Police note stuff down on their note pads. The knife that had been plunged into my hand lay on the floor, dried blood covering the blade. I look down to my hand that I had bandaged my self a while back.
I continue to walk along the corridor to the stair well. The hand rail had been pulled away. It's like a bloody abandoned house. Well I think it was abandoned maybe like a week ago or something. As I climb the stairs I hear a police man yell. "Over here!" He shouts. Three more men and women run past me up the stairs, including Julia.
I soon arrive at the scene they had found. It is my room. Yet again there is broken bottles, pictures had been ripped up, statues smashed. I look over to where the police are stood. They stand quietly around my cupboard. One is knelt down. I look between them and see him.
'Bradley, he's alive!' I think finally relieved to find he's alive. He has bruises on his face and what looks like a broken wrist. He clutches an old pink teddy of mine I had given him ages ago. He is skinny from lack of food, I guess, and his face was red from crying. "Ib-by?" He asks looking through the police to me. His blue eyes sparkle when he sees me.
I push through the crowd to grab Bradley in a hug. He whimpers slightly as I accidentally touch his wrist. "Sorry." I whisper to him. "I'll take him to hospital for you." Julia says from behind me. "Ok." I mummer back. "Bradley this is my friend Julia, she's going to take you to make your wrist better." He nods quickly before Julia picks him up. "I'll see you soon!" I shout as they leave the room.
The police leave the room after a small look around, examining everything in the room. I walk out to bump into Peter. "Everything's broken in my room." He sighs. "Same here." I add. "Did you see Bradley?" I ask. Peter nods with a smile. "Have you seen mother yet?" I ask him again. "No not yet." I walk past Bradley's room noticing that it's not as damaged as the rest of the house.
Police hadn't got to this part of the house yet. As I walk past, mother and father's room I notice a lot of destruction. I slowly walk in clothes are scattered on the floor, picture frames broken. It was the same old thing as the rest of the house. But something drew me further in. I don't know what it is that my body wants to see.
Suddenly I'm hit by a pungent smell, something like raw meat that had gone out of date.
'Oh no.' I think my eyes stretching wide, I see dried blood on the floor boards. "Mother?" I whisper quietly, panic showing in the tremble of my voice.
I hear a small sigh kind of whimper noise. I walk around the other side of the bed. I see my mother laying on the floor, her skull must have been cracked as I see dried blood on her head, her stomach was also bleeding.
Her eyes open slightly, so I move over to kneel down by her. "Where's Bradley?" She asks quietly, her voice was weak. "He's safe, but he's on his way to hospital." Mother sighs. "Good." She mummers. I notice her breathing become shallow. "Over here!" I shout in panic. "Where's father?" I ask quickly. "Don't know. He left a day or t-two ago." She whispers.
I hear the pounding of feet along the corridor. "Libby I have one last thing to tell you." She mummers. "No don't waste your breath!" I say hushing her. "Paul Drake, isn't your father, nor Peter's, m-my family didn't like your father, so they set me up with the highest 'b-bidder'." She spits. My eyes stretch wide. "Why didn't you tell us?" I ask anger taking over. Her breathing slows down. That's begin to panic again.
"Hurry!" I shout again, and soon after Chris runs in. "What's happening?" He asks hurriedly. "She's dying!" I wail. The police run in with Peter, but mother's eyes had gone dull. Her body was limp. Her life was gone.
The tears come slowly at first, then soon a waterfall erupts from my eyes. Peter knelt next to me, tears also rolling down his face. He hugs me and Chris hugs the both of us. Police look down at us, most of them look sorry for us. As for the rest they don't care, to them we're just a bunch of teens, two of which just lost their mother.

"Well I liked that one." I say pointing to a picture of a flat. "Yeah it was good. Not to far from Peter's flat and close to Lilly's house." Chris agrees. Marco plods over carrying a toy in his mouth. Chris quickly throws it back across the room for him to fetch.
In the time after mother's death, we, me and Peter, received mother's will. It was more than we expected honestly. So Peter bought a flat, and me and Chris were in the process of buying one. Bradley had gone to an orphanage sadly, but was now being fostered by a lovely family. Lilly being his foster mother. We visit him a lot so he doesn't miss us too much. Also at the moment, me and Chris were still at the youth hostel. Chris got a job at the bakers down town, so he earned some more money from that.
Later me and Chris are going out because I have something to tell him. I'm not sure how he will react. I was terrified at first, but some how I knew things would be alright.

"This is a nice place." Chris comments. I nod. "Yeah and it's not to expensive. That's why I like it so much." I have on a nice dress. Nothing special just burgundy and I wore my converse with it. Chris wore a checkered shirt and jeans.
"So I have something to tell you." I say. We were now sat and had finished our meal. "Go ahead." He says smiling. "Well," I say as a lump forms in my throat. He raises an eyebrow. "I'm pregnant." I look to my hands. "And I kno-" Chris cuts me off. "I want you to keep it, if that's ok with you." He says. "Really?" I ask in surprise. "Even though I know it's not mine, I don't want to kill a. Innocent child." I smile lightly. " I want to keep it too. I thought you would want me to terminate it."
Chris leans across the table and hugs me. "I love you." He says. " I love you too." I reply.
