The other has dark skin and a seemingly kind face. The girl runs tries to out run the man with blue eyes. "On your left." He calls as he passes Acacia and the other man.
The other man and Acacia run, but the man with blue eyes passes them again. "On your left." He repeats.
"On our left. Got it." Acacia says.
It's the the third time and the man that keeps passing the two almost does.
"Don't say it. Don't you say it." The other man pleads.
"On your left." He repeats.
"Come on!" Acacia says in exhaustion.
Acacia finally gives up and stops to rest by a tree. The fast man approaches her and the other man. "Need a medic?"
"I need a new set of lungs. Dude, you just ran like 13 miles in 30 minutes." The other man says.
"I guess I got a late start." The man with blue eyes says.
"Oh, really? You should be ashamed of yourself. You should take another lap." Acacia says crossing her arms.
"Did you just take it? I assumed you just took it." The other man says.
"What unit you with?" The blonde man asks.
"58, Pararescue. But now I'm working down at the VA." The other man says.
The two men shake hands.
"Sam Wilson." One of the men introduces
"Steve Rogers." The other man says.
"Yeah I kind of put that together. Must have freaked you out coming home after the whole defrosting thing." Sam says.
"It takes some getting used to. It's good to meet you, Sam." Steve says with a smile.
The two men turn to Acacia.
"What's your name, kid?" Steve asks the burnette girl.
"Acacia Cleveland." Acacia introduces with a smile.
"Like the fashion icon?" Sam asks and Steve looks confused.
Acacia smiles. "Exactly like her."
"Nice to meet you." The two men say.
Steve then turns to leave.
"It's your bed, right?" Sam asks.
"What's that?" Steve asks.
"Your bed, it's too soft. When I was over there I'd sleep on the ground and use rock for pillows, like a caveman. Now I'm home, lying in my bed, and it's like..." Sam trails off.
